It's the fault of big corporations. County after county in Indiana gave tax breaks to corporations to get them to move their factories to Indiana. Usually they gave 10-year deferments, but they also built template industrial parks so they companies can easily move out when the 10 year mark arrives, so no tax dollars are collected by the government. Many of these counties enacted local income and occupational taxes. It's this welfare for the rich that is causing 90 percent of Americans to pay so much more. This video need to look at this.

You should do videos on getting taxed after you win the lottery and how much you lose some you can take in some more amounts and one option but the vast majority of options that people choose is all of it right now And there's different amounts you can subtract from the biggest 1.6 billion 1.2 billion 100 million 500 million 700 Etc how much you exactly lose from those taxes

I like this analysis, but some places you use $100,000 and others you use $1,000,000. Perhaps you should pick a standard number as it does effect the actual tax amounts.
@LilPW
@LilPW 2 жыл бұрын
I think that's the point as the cost of living is much higher depending on where you live so he's adjusting for it. Nobody wants to see 100,000 in California because that's almost like being homeless.
@dahveed284
@dahveed284 2 жыл бұрын
@@LilPW True, but nearly every country uses a "progressive" tax rate, meaning the higher the income, the larger percentage you pay. So when you compare $1,000,000 income in some place, you might get a 51% effective tax rate while comparing $100,000 yields a much lower effective tax rate.
