Maverick loves to draw pirate ships and robots too, haha. Very cool drawing. I appreciate the tidy insulation job! Doing the drywall sheets vertically eliminates all butt joints. For the average DIYer with 8' tall walls, I think vertical is the way to go, unless the wall is less than 8' wide, then horizontal works fine too ;) All the room changes you've made are great and made a big impact.

Soapy water in a spray bottle takes care of all kinds of wasps and hornets. You can put it in a larger pump sprayer to give you more range and quantity of spray. Works like a charm and no chemical smells.

We mix water and dawn dish soap. Amazing how well it works on wasps and no residue to kill insects you do not want to kill. Works well around chicken enclosures too.

Okay as many have said so many different times the two of y'all work really well together. I really enjoyed seeing the boys in this video. Nothing like a box and a couple of sticks to make the afternoon. I've been watching you for a while and you introduced me to the Craftsman 20 volt. I was an old school holdout with the Craftsman 19.2 volt and had to upgrade in december. Since then I think I probably own about 10 tools and eight batteries. I think I'm sold. Godspeed on your Mobile Home Project.

The boys have become great helpers !! Sam, if you’re worried about a new fascination with “demo”- let them help with painting? Or instead, maybe later on you and the boys can build a treehouse… then they will better appreciate taking care of everything ! On this project, the boys learned how to contribute, work hard, to work as a team ; and be proud of a job well done 👍 Angela is never happier than when she’s holding a crowbar and a hammer 🔨- sometimes aimed at Sam 😳🤣🤣🤣 The new floor plan is so nice . I know it’s all coming together and will be beautiful ! ❤️

Omg!!! This is my favorite video yet! I LOVE that the boys were helping and able to help this time with the renovation. They will always remember this. I have 2 boys (36 and 32 now) but they still remember and talk about when I let them help doing stuff in the house that used a paint brush or screw driver or help putting in a new inside door etc. I lobe watching them in your videos. I miss my boys being so little. Your doing a great job with them ❤

I'm 14 mins into this and I'm going to guess that the "change" coming is changing the window closest to what was the desk to a sliding door or french doors. Thank you also for having more of the boys in the video. I get to where I miss seeing them. So did I hear right that Sam was also a "feral child"?? Now we know where the boys get it. lolol Okay, I guess I was wrong about the sliding/french doors.

Wait till dark and mix up some soapy dish washing soap and knock the wasps nest off at night into the soapy water. It kills them and usually you get them all at night stuck on the nest. No great drama that way and no stings. Cool you can finish up your renos at this point. Much better than having to live in it while doing it. Good job ya'll! Boys love demo! LOL!

Hi Sam & Angela Another entertaining and informative video. You make learning fun. Looks like this demolition was a family affair. Angela I'm like you demolition is so much more fun than trying to build something. Sam Can we still call this a 1988 Palm Harbor mobile home. With all you've done what percentage of 1988 is left. I still like the way you say it even if it isn't. Wishing you guys the best Stay strong, safe, and lately as cool as possible.

You both do a great job encouraging and showing your children how to do things. I was about Isaac's age when I helped my Grandpa finish out a bathroom. Precious memories from 66 years ago!!! All I did was hold things, but I learned things from him. I love Sam shaking his head in the background as Angela tries to explain something not to his satisfaction. Cracks me up. It is so nice that you are so real. You get exasperated, but you keep on. Love the amount of work you put out. I love the way you divide the work. You are very efficient. You probably don't think so, but you are!!! Waiting with bated breath for the next installment!!
