I live in Las Vegas now, but I was born and raised in Iloilo city. At 42 years old, I'm still debating on whether I should retire over there or just stay over here. I'm glad Iloilo has been getting some recognition lately. A lot of expats seem to like it over there. I hope the city keeps growing so the people over there can reap the benefits.

Have you been back to Iloilo recently? Sometimes to make up your mind it helps to try the city on for size. I know you grew up here but if it's been a long time you might have lost the feeling of what its like to be here. The United States has a lot of advantages and Vegas can be a beautiful place to be. I find more of a sense of family and relationships here that I don't find in the U.S. That's one thing to consider. Everyone has to make up their own mind. A visit might help in your search. Thanks for the comment!

@@ThePhilippinesProject I left in 1996 when I was about 15 years old. I didn't come back until 2018. I hardly recognized the city at all. But I did feel safer and more "at home" there than over here. I visited a dermatologist over there and paid $7 for both the consultation and the prescription. I can't even buy a sandwhich over here for that much money.

Love watching your videos. I felt like home. I've been watching videos of my city recently, and I can't believe that after 15 years since I left, Iloilo looks very different as far as I can remember. I can't wait to see it in my own eyes. I'm very excited 🇵🇭🇺🇸 about our visit this coming December.

I like the City. Iloilo City has a lot to offer. I’m a small town guy. Living outside the city gives me access to the life I like and the convenience of being close to a bigger city. Iloilo is close to 450,000.

This is what I like in our city. Very few beggars and street children. Most of the time, they are non-existent.

@@ThePhilippinesProject I’m still here ! Thanks for the kind words. I knew from the beginning that you would be successful. A big congratulations to you. All you needed was some time and positive criticism. I still watch your KZbin videos, but from a distance. I’m glad you found the property in Guimares , it keeps you busy and great video content. Life has thrown me some curve balls, I’ve unsubscribed from all whom I watched over the years. And there’s been a lot, every thing I’ve wanted to know about the Philippines has come from KZbin, you included. I’m glad to have been apart of your growth in your channel. I’m sure you’ll continue to educate anyone who stops by to watch your content.
