When I was 11 I accidentally saw a documentary on Leshtarsky on TV soon after he was caught. Had nightmares for years. The concept of a hunter-gatherer hermit hiding deep in the virgin national parks where no police can track him; who re-enters society only briefly to murder and to steal is horrifying.

For Part 3, i would suggest including Vlado Taneski, a serial killer from Macedonia. What's noteworthy about him is that he was a journalist who wrote newspaper articles about the deaths of his victims (elderly women) prior to being caught. The police arrested him because the articles contained information that was not shared to the public.

In case we consider Hungary as Balkanic (and why not?), then I hope you'll include the case of Péter Kovács (aka "the Beast of Martfű") , Lajos Soós or Béla Kiss (aka "the Beast of Cinkota") in an upcoming episode. The first two serial killers ended badly, as they were both executed, but the latter one's fate is still not known for sure, but most probably died during WW1 near Valjevo, Serbia.
