I just reserved that spot at Peggy's Hill parking area. I'm going to set up right near the fire ring. (At a safe distance, that is). Going to get some peace and quiet.! Thanks for the videos.

Correction..... There are 3 different State Parks within Michaux State Forest. Pine Grove Furnace, Caladonia, & Mont Alto.

The Peggy Hill area number 22 has that trail you showed and it will take you the whole way back down towards the Picnic Area you started with. There are quite a few little known trails taking off from the different camping areas. When you left the Old Forge Picnic area if you would have taken the first left onto Swift Run road, there is camping site number 24 just about a half mile up the road on the left. It isn't marked on the MAP but is listed as site number 24 on the district list. Thanks for the videos.

I just camped site 22 lot b it was the worst outdoor experiance constant noise harrased by park ranger all i wanted was some quiet to read my book and it was anything but plus i specifically asked the office for a quiet place near water which there was water just over the hill and once in the woods away from the rd it was the energizing peace that i needed but it wasnt free 26.50 for 3 days fri-sn and that trail head has contant traffic
