lactic acid does so many great things for the body we don't fully understand. It has positiv effects for the brain. It makes you feel happy.

Great video Christian. Can't believe this isn't taught more. Kneesovertoes guy lead me here and his principles. I just went and tried my usual chest workout this morning but instead I used dumbbells and let the weights drop down as low as possible below my chest on all exercises (flat, incline, decline, flys). I feel incredible now!! My body is all loose and feels light. I realise i was tight in areas that I didn't even know. Highly recommend ppl try it.

Man i did gvt with this using a 4 second eccentric but maximizing the rom, and the next day every single limb felt so loose and mobile. It was the best feeling ever.

Christian, thank you so much for such invaluable informations. I've been using these techniques for quite a time now but you verbalize everything so clearly that now I'll even be more capable explaining to my clients the logic behind all this. Keep on the great work.

Great video...I really think that hyperplasia is possible for muscles too, as it is possible for other parts of the body, like for example tedons that are "heavily loaded" build new tissue cells.

This is such fantastic information. I’m now going to research loaded stretching for the next month lol. I want to program it in properly

1) How would you rate the neurological stress of loaded stretches compared to heavy reps or overcoming isometrics? Are they high on the neural stress spectrum? 2) Can loaded stretches be used as a stand alone workout?
@THIBARMY9 ай бұрын
It depends on the effort level reached. When you go to failure or close it is higher than overcoming isos and maybe even than low /heavy reps. Yes it can be used as a stand alobr

Can I get hypertrophy only with loaded streching without movement?
@vardaspavarde84804 жыл бұрын
yes tho you need strech reflex isometrics and ded stop work for maximum muscule gain

so this makes pause benching great for hypertrophy. you program long pauses then go for concentric rep or pause until failure?
@Industrious4204 жыл бұрын
this sentence doesn't even make sense? And he made no mention of a pause rep, he just said focusing on the eccentric stretch while loaded increases muscle growth stimulation = TUT.
@Ayo.Ajisafe4 жыл бұрын
@@Industrious420 actually it makes complete sense. A pause bench is a loaded stretch on the pecs. Its just his own way of trying to incorporate loaded stretching. Think about what is the mechanical difference between a pause at the bottom of the bench press and the loaded pushup stretch Christian showed in part 1. To combine the two most powerful mtor triggers you could theoretically do a a slow eccentric, then a 20-30 second hold then push up. Actually sounds really interesting.. you'd have to drop the weight alot though.
@Eric3Frog2 жыл бұрын
A barbell pause bench will not allow enough stretch for this technique, unless you are abnormally tight. Most likely this will require dumbbells to get a deep enough stretch.
