Damn. And here I thought parallel parking was hard.

I had fun watching road crews working on my street; they had a front-end-loader with backhoe and the operator was using the backhoe bucket as a pivot to swing the cab around a lot. I hadn't known you could do that until I saw his work. Quite entertaining and very cool to watch.

Takes a pro 1 minute and 12 seconds. Takes Adam Savage... what, half an hour? (commercials not included) XD

That's that 1 minute of your day where you don't want to make a mistake (or check your phone)

Rambro could have got it loaded so much faster by raming it up there... still impressive doe

its not the boom you have to worry about, its the piston. i saw a piston break its pin at the crowd and go flyin bout 30feet

what is that little arm meant for? not the big one with the digging tool on it, but the other side that lifts up n down (obviously i dont know about this kind of stuff)
@blake93362 жыл бұрын
It’s called a blade, used to level yourself or used like a bulldozer to push dirt
@ShockL0ver12 жыл бұрын
doesn't that put too much stress on the boom?

Might be even safer way to load like this. You are never on loose ramps that you might slip off and tip the whole thing. My instructor told that he was watching some armypioneers unloading cat 3300 and they drove it down bucket in the air. He said that he was waiting them to fell of ramps, but none of 5 did. But I would un/load lowframe trailer from side not drive over tires.

geting it down is piece of cake!

One of my friend´s do that with 25 ton machine. Full size wheels on trailer. Only lifting with bucket front end to side of trailer, peace of cake. I have done it self with 20 tons machine.

Engine risks not getting any oil, so it is your choice really. But it does work.

Per Karlsson Depends where the oil pickup is really...

Isn't this the normal way to do it? It's just a small machine, not an EC700...

It seems like a ramp would be much faster and safer. "Knowing what your doing" is subjective. At best this is a neat video and a cool trick.

Anyone can do that.
@hippiblue11 жыл бұрын
I'd put the rear truck wheels in a ditch, it's even easier.
@martinlandry197512 жыл бұрын
it's done the same only in reverse
@Tristan10210011 жыл бұрын
even someone who is starting out can do this. i have done it a million times and i am only 14. btw i am an expert operator on almost any machine. if it is low enough you could do this with a dozer!
