You’ve got it wrong. I live in upstate New York. You are calling us a sanctuary state. We are not a SANCTUARY STATE. NEW YORK CITY is a sanctuary city but most of the 57 counties upstate are NOT sanctuary counties. We do not want the migrants up here and we can’t afford them. There is a major difference between the people of NYC and the upstaters. There is actually a bill floating around by some of the upstate legislators to secede from NYC. So, we upstaters are sitting ducks while Adam’s wants to dump them in NON-SANCTUARY counties. He doesn’t even have the jurisdiction outside the 5 boroughs to do this. He wants to ruin the entire state of New York and put it on the back of the taxpayers. And again, he has no jurisdiction to do this outside of NYC. If he succeeds in what he wants to do, there will be a massive exit of people leaving New York State. Nobody wants to pay higher taxes for migrants who don’t belong here while OUR quality of life goes down. BIG battle coming here in New York State. We’ll see how it plays out.
