Spider-Man is always beating Wolverine. Spidey is in another league. He is way stronger, faster, has his own gadgets, etc. For people who watch the films, they think Wolverine is super powerful and the most powerful X-'Men, but that's not true; he is nowhere near close to the most powerful level. Someone that the films did dirty and people think Wolverine can beat Cycops, that's another misconception. Wolverine is a beta-level mutant, Cyclops is an alpha-level mutant, so he is more powerful, and he has beat the shitout Logan many times. Like I said, the films just did dirty most mutants, and the only ones that were passable to good were Wolverine, Magneto, and Professor X.

Just so you know, when Charles referred to the "Westchester Incident" at the house he was remembering that he accidentally killed the original X-men team at the school in New York when he had one of his seizures all those years ago; Logan never had the heart to tell the Professor and likely reasoned within himself that it was for the best that Charles had forgotten due to his degenerative brain disorder. 😔

The adamantium destroyed Logan's healing factor over time. Probably from his mutation constantly healing himself literally 24-7 from metal poisoning
@ianjardine73246 ай бұрын
Not quite the adamantium was always poisonous but as the doctor said during his final monologue he'd developed a food additive which suppressed mutation which the government had secretly distributed throughout the entire processed food industry that was what was causing Logan to age and his healing power could no longer fight off the effects of his adamantium poisoning and may well have contributed to the professors decline. There are probably millions of mutants within the population by this point but their powers have never emerged because they are being suppressed by the chemicals in their food.
@JessAndTess6 ай бұрын
He had a pretty good run though
@Cloud_Strife08116 ай бұрын
It wasn't the adamantium destroying his healing factor. If you paid attention to the movie, Dr. Xander Rice created a GMO that they put in food and drinks that suppressed the mutant-x gene. That's why Logan said there hadn't been a new mutant born in 25 years. So Logan's healing factor was slowly being shut down and the adamantium was able to poison him much more than normal. If that didn't happen, Logan would have lived way longer.
@notofthisgod326 ай бұрын
No. His healing factor was damaged from the chemicals Akali put into the crops, food & drink to kill off the mutants.
@tycol3225 ай бұрын
Both are true. In the movie it's mostly the anti mutant chemicals but in the comics the adamantium hinders his healing factor and his mutation. When magneto ripped it out of him, he actually ended up mutating into a more beastial creature

The film she quotes that they watched earlier is Shane (1953). In the film a world weary gunslinger trying to escape his past helps a widow and her young son defend their home from men who want to take her land. The story seems cliché today but Shane was one of the early films to introduce that trope. In the film the son idolizes Shane's life as a gunslinger while Shane tries to discourage the boy from a life of violence. Shane gives the speech Laura quotes, after the final fight, severely wounded he rides into the sunset while slumped over in his saddle. To this day film scholars debate whether or not he dies as he rides off. So that scene she quotes has a much deeper relevance if you know the details of Shane.

In the comics Captain America's shield is a combination of Adamantium & Vibranium making it extremely unique. Since, at the time the MCU was being made Fox Studios still owned the rights to the X-men and couldn't use the word mutant, Adamantium, or characters from the comics. Which is why Cap. America's shield is Vibranium only in MCU. The only way the MCU was able to use the twins Wanda & Pietro aka Magneto's children was they were never called mutants and they couldn't use the twins comic names Scarlet Witch & Quicksilver until Disney purchased Fox Studios.

In the Marvel universe, they get what Captain America shield made out of wrong. In the comic books, it was created out of three compounds vibranium which absorbs energy and redirect it. Vibration is not indestructible. Steel alloy, which helps combines the three compounds. Proto-Adamantium which is nearly indestructible. This is what makes Captain America shield immensely durable. They couldn’t mention Adamantium in the MCU because Fox had the rights to the X-Men and everything associated with it so they just state it’s made out of vibration which is not correct. in the MCU they act like vibranium is the be all and end all metal It’s not. The best metal you see in the MCU is actually Uru this is the metal that Asgardian weapons are created from. Thanos sword shattered Captain America shield because it was made out of Uru. You also see Thor‘s battle axe go through a blast from all of the infinity stones and still hitting its target with no damage why because it was Uru. However, in the comic books in the much distant future, there is an ally that is stronger than all of these known as Dargonite. I hope this geek out on marvel metals helps lol.

Technically being buried with X-24 should had given Logan enough time to heal and recover from his injuries. Considering that Laura(maybe daughter) and X-24 are both clones of Logan, their blood and organs are compatible with him for an organ transplant as X-24's not fully dead just brain dead. So Logan could had harvested X-24's organs and even limbs considering that it's immune or less damaged to the Legacy virus. Logan's healing factor should had copied X-24's immunity when it was contaminated with his blood. Best case scenario is for a head transplant unfortunately Logan needs Laura's help to properly do it so he at least could do an organ and limbs transplant by himself. Spoiler, in the new Deadpool movie, it was shown in the trailers that X-24 or Logan's bones were used as weapons against the TVA goons. Again given time being infected with X-24's blood, Logan should had recovered from his injuries and maybe faster if that wood in his stomach is removed. Being buried with his clone should had made his recovery much more real and Logan not permanently dead like in the previous The Wolverine movie.
@JessAndTess5 ай бұрын
If there is no doctor around to do the transplants maybe it couldn't have been done
@Exaris795 ай бұрын
@@JessAndTess Yes you need help like Laura/X-23 for a head transplant to X-24's body since it needs to be done at the same time really fast. For everything else, like limbs or organs, Logan can do that himself but it's a matter of time before X-24's brain dead body eventually dies as is there someone else is still after Logan and the kids or if there's wild life like bears or wolves that might want to chew on X-24's body. Again the most important reason to do the transplant operation is that X-24's body is immune or less damaged from the Legacy virus.

I used to laugh at that stuff-in 2010. When making those jokes becomes a pattern, it means it’s top of mind-making it feel less like a joke and more like your genuine feelings about the subject. I wouldn’t comment if it wasn’t 1. So noticeable 2. A consistent pattern 3. Directed at your partner and coparent. I can see you have reacts with your daughter-I haven’t watched them. You should try it. I still stand by everything else I said. And you would be correct, your kid is allowed to make those low blow jokes because they are YOUR KID. They’re not your role model. They have maturing to do. You can’t seriously be saying that you should be allowed to have the same level of maturity as your teenager, are you? Because that’s such a big red flag. Do you allow your kids to drink underage? Curse? Do you behave the way your kids do? Or do you recognize that you are different generations and you have to set an example as their parent and show kindness even when they might not? And if you really believe that agist jokes are the same as misogynistic jokes specifically about women’s intelligence, I don’t even know where to begin with re-educating you. I found it amusing that you implied the fact that I said you demeaned your partner repeatedly that I’m just the joke police. I guess I was correct and you haven’t matured in 14 years. By the way, we’re about the same age. I would be so embarrassed if I was your partner and instead of you choosing to write about where you went wrong or how much you respect and love her, or that you spoke with her and she doesn’t feel disrespected, you chose to double down and claim you can insult her because you find it funny. Her reactions to these jokes is why I noticed it to begin with. It’s very obvious to me, as someone that put up with that humor over a decade ago, that she doesn’t like it. She’s tolerating it.

@@JohnSmith-rm1po If a movie needs multiple other movies to tell a good self-contained story, then it isn't a good story. Movies, much like comics, should always be written and worked on with the idea that it may be someone's first introduction to the world. Would I rather watch someone's journey into seeing the whole saga? Sure, but this movie holds up on its' own as a standalone film without all of the other stuff. All this mentality does is gatekeep and turn away possible new fans. This works as a perfect example. It seems the idea started from "Lotta hype around Deadpool 3, I wanna watch and be in on it." So they watch Deadpool, and are rightfully advised "Hey, you might want to check out Logan because there's spoilers". Okay, I'll watch Logan. Oh wait, before I get to that, I need to watch the other nine previous X-Men movies, so I get exactly 100% of all the references and tidbits. Assuming all of those runtimes average about 90 minutes (an hour and a half), then I need to carve out at least 13+ hours of my life. Half of a whole day to watch a two hour movie. Of course, most of those aren't relevant to this story. But you know, Deadpool made some Marvel references. So maybe I need to dive into the MCU. Before Deadpool 2, there are nineteen movies I need to watch and at least another 29 hours. If the barrier for entry is somewhere between 13 and 42 hours, and that's BEFORE Deadpool 2, why would anyone new even bother gettng into it? So if a fan started reading comics in the 80's or 90's, but haven't read every single possible issue that was done with Spider-Man, are they not fans?

@@JohnSmith-rm1po "I question the wisdom of [the Marvel cinematic universe] in general. One thing everyone's concerned about is the creativity and quality of these kinds of movies-and if that's the case, then it seems to me that the first order of business would be figuring out why they're not more interesting or exciting. In many ways, that has a lot to do with freedom. Fans-and the internet sites that serve the fans-put a lot of stress on continuity, and the idea that you should be able to cut these movies into one continuous, nine-hour Berlin Alexanderplatz of comic book-dom. There's nothing innately wrong with that, I guess-but it's a counter-movie. When you find yourself in the captain's chair on one of these movies, you feel a little like Houdini-you're in a restraint system, and you're trying to figure out how to get out. Having made one of these movies already, it occurred to me that the way to get out is to build a movie that functions for anyone, not just people who have seen the other movies. You have to let go of whatever you need to let go of to make the movie function, in the same way that every comic-book artist in the history of comic books has let go of what their predecessors did. I think fans would be a lot happier with the movies if they looked at comic books the way we look at Shakespeare-where we invite directors to take [the material] wherever they want, and then we judge them by the results." James Mangold said that, but what does he know? He only wrote and directed this movie.

I'm guessing you guys are American? because only Americans for some reason love to spoil their content with "COMING UP ON TODAYS EPISODE" at the beginning, like ,,,,okay great now I don't need to watch... we want to go along with your emotions as the story unfolds, not chucked over a minute of the middle of the film first... I dno maybe its just me - I'm not saying you personally just in general like TV shows too it just grinds my gears

Nah I've seen others not American do it. Drives me crazy & ruins it. I don't know why everything has to be spoiled these days.
