My observations of comments to this topic: The first 75% or so of comments were vastly positive in nature. I noted that these comments were made mostly by people who regularly comment on this site. Comments made later became more negative in nature. The negative comments were mostly from people who do not regularly comment on this site. It appears to me that some people spread the news of this topic to their friends so these friends could argue against the more positive comments. They claimed that Ken's post was political, which it wasn't, and then their posts became political, saying how the Palestinians were mistreated, etc.

I watch this channel every day and love it but I have never felt the need to comment on logging. However , I felt the need to comment on this one video which I found offensive. Not a single mention of children being bombed in Gaza. It was like the Boss was agreeing with the violence on Gaza. Even the UN has asked for an end to the violence.

I watch yours and other wood related videos not only for wholesome entertainment and learning, but also to escape the warped ideology that comes across the tv screens everyday. Yesterday I stopped and checked on a fellow sleeping on the sidewalk outside our local Harbor Freight. It wasn't that I was thinking of doing a kind act, I just found that I couldn't walk past him like everyone else did. He was completely covered by a blanket and wouldn't show his face even after me asking if he was okay. He only said "Thank you for checking on me". There but for the grace of God go I.

We would sing Gospel Music and I talked about the very thing you are saying today. And you're so right, we need to stop being "us or them". If it doesn't start to be "we" at some point, this strife in the world will never end. The world could use some kindness right now, and it starts with each of us. He seems a good man but his dismissal of the murder of innocent children in Gaza has clearly seriously annoyed so many regular viewers, me included. It is very sad that the reputation of a really wholesome and admirable You Tube channel has been trashed by this ill thought out video. It shows the family in a very bad light.
@billz4071 Жыл бұрын
@jimpackard8059 This is a public channel and KZbin, like most all other channels, is read by people of ALL ethnic and varied people all over the world. There is NO ONE who can say anything in the state the world is in today that someone, like yourself, cannot find some negative personal thoughts about. It seems that everyone who opens up their mouths today gets offended from someone out here. Here's an example: "I think that person is a fantastic person." Someone can make the comment and say, "I heard them say something really bad a year ago and they are a terrible human being." If someone says something you don't like or agree with, that is supposed to be YOUR business and to avoid the channel or person you find to be offensive. Ken did not dismiss anyone, especially those innocent lost children!! He was very careful with his words. In fact, his disclaimer at the start showed he did not want to offend anyone. It was a VERY difficult topic to talk about the positive side of it, and to spread peace to uplift everyone. Obviously you missed that part, or didn't understand the 'whole' message he tried to present. I HONOR his message. I would bet for many people, that was just was needing to be said. We can choose to ignore everything around us like it never happened, we can attack the messenger badly, we can support the messenger, or we can walk away from the situation and just not return to where that channel or person where you were not happy with what was said. Vocalizing hate messages, such as yours, just shows your position in life to others out here. You said that Ken stated, "....... his dismissal of the murder of innocent children in Gaza has clearly seriously annoyed so many regular viewers.....". Out of 160,000+ subscribers to this channel, how 'MANY REGULAR VIEWERS', (as you stated), do you feel he has upset the way you find it? ......."SO MANY REGULARS", you said...... Place a number on that!!! Most all the messages I have looked at on here have been VERY positive and uplifting. How many thousands of subscribers do you claim to have been upset at Ken, and this channel? Provide numbers who were upset please.......... I don't know this family personally, but I watch and I listen to many videos from them. They seem to be a good and wholesome family that isn't ashamed to share who they are as a family, and the inner love they share with each other PUBLICLY on this channel. I see a very close and loving family here!! Keep up the Good Work, Ken and blessings to the rest of your family!

I will light a candle tonight for the people of Gaza who have and are living in the world's biggest outdoor prison for countless decades, for the people of Palestine who are been constantly driven from their land by Israeli settlers. There are three sides to every story, yours, mine, and the truth. I honour you Ken for yours. mine differs, if we both agreed on everything one of us would not be necessary. Peace and Love
@japanlovesyou Жыл бұрын
It doesn't seem like he's discrediting what you're saying, there is nothing simple about the situation, but one needs to realize just as there is a difference between Hamas and other Gazans so to is there a difference between the Israel Govt/Army and other Israelis. Many are actively trying to make peace on both sides but are being stopped or inhibited from higher up. I wish you success in all your endeavors and may you continue to seek and spread only truth and love!
@itsamindgame9198 Жыл бұрын
Sorry, but most of that is lies that have been allowed to take root through people being reluctant to be confrontational about them. Some of it is new lies, though. The land being called Palestine was the home of Israel thousands of years ago. Israel was subjected to wave after wave of being colonized and driven from their land. Arab settlers arrived sometime in early middle ages. "Palestinian" was a name given to the people of the region, who at the time were predominantly Israelites/Jewish. Gaza is only an outdoor prison if Hamas has made it so. People may leave and enter by Rafah, and until recently to/from Israel. Israel has agreed to/offered a two state settlement many times, the response has always been an emphatic no, usually punctuated with explosions. Ironically, there is already an Arab Palestinian state. When it apparent that Arab Palestinians would never share land or anything with Israel, the Emirate of Trans Jordan (now the Kingdom of Jordan) was established. The "countless decades" part is a new lie. Arab Palestine was invaded by Arab nations in their zeal to commit genocide against Israel. What Israel took it took in defensive wars. It will get better. It will get infinitely better. However, before that it is going to get much much worse. We know that the whole world will turn against Israel. We also know that Israel will be victorious under God.

@@itsamindgame9198Thank you. You are right that the truth is hidden. Becguys few people will stand up and speak it against the media and the supporters of terrorism under the guise of using the civilians as a shield, which is ironic since hamas also uses civilians as a shield. They just keep saying that hamas is allowed. Kill, it's Raleigh's and Israelis can't fight back. Because homos uses the palestinians as shields, Therefore, a Israeli are not allowed to fight back. Your history is also correct, but they don't want to hear that because it goes against the victim narrative. The truth is the open air prison lie is one of the more ignorant ones. It's the same as the idea that israel is cutting off all water to the palestinians. Israel only controls one border with palestine, and it only controls about 13% of the water that enters Palestine. How much is responsible for all of the water in Palestine outside of maybe that 13%? It's been proven that hamas is keeping fuel food and water from their own people. The open air prison can only be so because while israel doesn't owe palestinians access to israel, It is the other Muslim countries that neighbor Palestine, who also do not want palestinians to go through their Borders. Because Palestine is a hot bed of terrorism, so if it's an open air prison, it's only really because all of the other Muslim countries also don't trust palestinians. Again, Israel doesn't owe Palestine anything anymore than the other countries do. But if palestinians were really so innocent and peaceful, then hamas would not be there, and they would have peach in the area. The same with the water situation that they would have plenty of water, food and fuel, except that hamas has been using the civilian inprestructure that all these countries gave them hundreds of millions of dollars to build, to build their own well as using the humanitarian money to buy weapons. It is very ignorant that israel keeps getting blamed for so many things, As if other countries are not involved, And as if hamas and the palestinians don't have their own autonomy

When you consider the future blessings of the new covenant and Israel’s future reign with the Prince of Peace in said covenant, this is a very appropriate message and much appreciated.

I have hesitated for days before writing my point of view regarding the message you have sent some days ago. I appreciate that your words of kindness and humanity. Also, I feel sorry for all the civilian victims of this conflict that was , I do agree, started by the attack of HAmas on Isreali people . However, the scale of the Isreali revange on the Gasa strip is not acceptable from a humanitarian point of view. They are completely destroying this small territory and killing thousand of civilians. Of course, if you listen to the rabin's words, you will hear only one side of the drama. The Palestinians do not have the possibility to let the world know what they suffer since the foundation of Israel. Right at the beginning, thousands of Palestinians have seen their soil occupied and they have been deported , some to Jordania, some to Lebanon. Right now, at this very moment, hundreds of Palestinians see their territory being brutally and illegally occupied by Jewish settlers under the protection of the Israel army, without any regards to their meager belongings. Imagine one moment your own situation if what the bible describes as the Holy Land would be Pennsylvania or any other state in the US. How would you react? If I were in this situation, I would rebel with all my strength against the occupants, just like my father reacted when my country was occupied by the Nazis between 1940-45. Thank you for reading this text (in case anybody reads it) and excuse the poor quality of my Englisg, which is not my native language. Take care and enjoy your freedom.

It is obvious americans have no clue what it means if your country is occupied , most europeans which have suffered occupation-laws will have a broader view on this matter. And I like to call things by their name , as the Gaza ghetto, because that's what it is . For any doubters search the history of the Warshau/Warsaw ghetto and you will understand the meaning and horrorship of it ..... and the ending . Note: my father saying after avoiding concentration-camps in nazi-Germany; if one is treating humans as animals , they will turn up sooner or later as beasts , so true.

I haven't watched a video from this channel in a while.. Something made me remember it so I came here. Such an awesome message totally unrelated to what you do . A message about other humans going thru a bad time promoting the betterment of others even though they are having a hard go at life. Good on you for putting light on it all in a calm manor. Something not seen nor heard these days of drama and strife. I know several people thru the things I do that are in Israel living among that chaos and anger and uncertainty. Though they are worried and even scared of their future they too have the same philosophy of good spreading good around the world to light up the darkness consuming the world today. Thank you for this little push to re-motivate me to pass good forward more than I already try to do.

I guess that if Jesus was alive today in Jerusalem, he would condemn the murder of Israelis by Hammas and the dropping of bombs on innocent people in Gaza. He did not preach the concept of ”An eye for an eye “
