For g pro wireless i love the side buttons just wish they were bigger but the surface is too smooth that it is slippery and it flew out of my hand more than once while gaming and it would be nice if the hump at the back is flat or more narrow so it does not interrupt with my grip also the scroll wheel for me is hard to press in. For the software its easy to use but there are not much color modes to choose but its nice that the mouse remember the mode that you chose but one big thing is that you cant change the lift off distance of the mouse so if you do not like the mouse feet like me you cant change it because most mouse feet in the market are thick and you cant tell until you get the feet. For razer viper ultimate i love the shape and the side rubber grip also the comfort groves on the left and right buttons are great but the grains on the surface of my copy is starting to get smooth and that not good because i just got it last Christmas and it would be nice if the hump is higher so that there is more surface to grip on also i prefer the scroll wheel on the normal viper because the viper ultimate is too tactile finally the side buttons and its great if it isn't that flat so when i first started using the mouse i sometime didn't hit it because i am used to using my thumb knuckle to hit the mouse button 4 also sometimes i accidentally press the side button on the other side with my pinky knuckle but i all of these dont happen anymore because im used to it now. For the software it is not as easy as logitech software but still easy to use its much better than before because it used to have a lot of glitch and i would say it is better than logitect software because it have so much more to offer and the color can be sync with some motherboard and rams but sadly when the app is closed or there is no network access the color dont sync so why do you want to close the app because it takes up 3% to 4% of your cpu but it is not as bad as asus aura sync as it take up 6% to 7% of your cpu but one big problem is my copy is already having problem charging with the charging dork also even after cleaning the places where it connect to change it still remain the same and now it is faster to just plug in to change than to make sure the mouse is actually changing on the dock also on my copy the bottom of the mouse where the bar code is place the protective plastic sheet started piling of at one of the corner so i pill it off one day because its getting bigger but when i was pilling it off it is easier to pill off than the sensor protective layer so after a while the bar code starts to fate away. (so if you care about side buttons then go with g pro wireless but if you dont then go with go the razer viper ultimate without the dock but i choose the normal razer viper with pure ptfe feet over any of those)

Deep up Stranded Creek Deep up Stranded Creek the Corsair IRONCLAW wireless looks big but it really isn’t as it’s only 13x6 cm (even Razer deathadder is bigger) and the left and right click are too thin so as I move the mouse on the pad I can feel the outer edge on both left and right buttons still it’s one of the most comfortable mouse I have rest my hand on but it should change it’s name to the Corsair IRONPALM wireless because it’s uncomfortable to claw or finger tip the mouse and it’s because of the shape not the size and why should it keep the iron in its name it’s because it’s heavy, at 110g but it’s lighter than g502 lightspeed by 2g still it’s a good mouse for casual players So if you hand is larger than 18x9 cm (size recommend for this mouse) then I would recommend Razer mamba wireless because it’s bigger but lighter and still a economic with a longer battery live and more suitable for gaming

Honestly im a Logi GPW user and i'm really big fan of this mouse. Seeing Razer able to create good rival makes me happy. Healthy rivals always makes company to think where else they can improve, maybe more weight reducing for example :) Nice video, gg Razer.

yeah i use the G502 and i got used to the 3 left-side buttons, they could make more variations of those mices. f.e. i would like a viper ultimate with those 3 side buttons and i actually wouldnt care if it therefore had more grams. im still used to my heavy G502, so even 90 grams are super light for me. On the other hand for others that seek the Ultralight experience, some improvements to weight would be welcomed. I just wish that one of those mices gets a 3rd side button thats all im asking for

ive been using the gpro for 8 months now and love it, i bought the viper wired when it came out and sent it straight back because i kept clicking the right side buttons evn with disabling the buttons it was still distracting and once u go wireless u aint going back

I've tried both, and the 74g vs 80g is a noticeable difference for me. I like the 74g viper, cuase it help me flick more consistently and get muscle memory quicker with a less tiring session.

I bought both from best buy with the expectation of preferring one over the other. Well, I ended up not keeping either. The GPW was just... not a good shape for my hand. I couldn't seem to find the right grip for it. The actual material felt good, and the mouse had no latency issues or anything. Really great mouse, just not for me. The razer definitely felt better, and the dock was really cool, but still, it just wasn't that comfortable. If you play only fps games, the viper is great for that, but the small form factor of the mouse makes it hard for doing other things comfortably. I should mention I have pretty small hands for a guy. I'd say small to medium. Ironically, I ended up with a deathadder v2. A big mouse, but perfect somehow- at least for me. Just wanted to throw this out there for people who may be on the fence. My best advice to you would be to buy your products from best buy. Their return policy is great. I have never had an issue, just make sure you either keep your receipt, or set up a quick account with them, just in case you lose your receipt.

After using both for a month a piece I decided the viper ultimate. My grip style is fingertip/claw and the side grooves provided better comfort and grip. My aim performance in Aim Lab was more consistent with the VU as well averaging high 99 percentile in flick shots. My hand size is 22cm length and 10cm wide for reference. As far as the mouse scraping the mouse pad in this video I felt more drag on the GPW; this probably comes down to the mouse pad you are using. I use a corsair m350. After falling into the pit of all these new fps mice coming out, in my opinion, the VU is the safest bet. I've used the Glorious Model O/O- coolermaster MM710 and MM711, GPW. (The wife prefers the MM711 for her tiny hands.)

Bought some 3rd party slip-resistant pads and slapped them on to my GPRO wireless. It is the perfect mice now! You should try it since it makes the mice so much easier to lift up and also gives it slightly more girth.

I will never get a logetich. I had 2 g pro wireless. And they double clicked within 1 year. I tried to get support from logetich and they tried everything in their power to avoid replacing it. So complicated support process. I switched to the Razer viper and it is similar. But I love the charging station it comes with. The logetich just had a cable.

I own the updated XM1 and it way better then the original, the cord is probably the best stock cord on the market rn, the coating is changed so It doesn’t show oil marks often, the mouse feet are thicker which will make them last longer and the side buttons are less mushy then the last version with little to no post and pre travel, I wouldn’t really call it minor upgrades because it makes the mouse significantly better and saves you money from modding it

I picked up the Viper yesterday and this thing is fantastic. The only real gripe I agree with you on is the RGB for the battery indicator, kinda wish that would be freed up to be whatever color you want though I could see it being patched in a Synapse update. I like logitech, loved my g502 when I was big into league, but they just don't seem to be listening to their customers. Razer has been knocking it out of the park with their recent releases and while I'm a custom mechanical keyboard snob, I love the Viper. Coming from a Glorious Model D, I think this is going to replace it. Good review though!

Maybe it’s me but my favorite mouse is the g903 because of the size and the fact that you can program the left and right clicks of the scroll wheel. Very useful for quick reloads. Wish it was lighter though. But I would choose the g pro over the viper. I think the build quality is better and the side buttons are bigger.

EZ choice. 100 percent PTFE feet, better sensor, Lighter Weight, Optical Switches, grippy body for all hand positions, clear as a day its Razer. Even if wireless is too expensive for you, the recent Razer Viper now is exactly like the ultimate, just wired for 40 bucks. Razer wins, they been winning since the launch of the V2 series. I have a Gpro and its the best mouse I have ever owned. I've had 18 different gaming-mouses. My friend has both and the viper m1&2 got squishy. Battery life is the same, really.

Bro buy the G PRO WIRELESS its a beast my dude. I've been using it for a year and it is insane. I do enjoy the sleek finish with less RGB, but let me be real, I am an RGB kinda gorl. So the one thing I would change about the GPW is the sad amount of RGB. When you are using the mouse, the palm of your hand covers the entire G which is the one pop of color on the mouse. I wish it has streaks of color like the Model O has. None the less, it is still a FABULOUS mouse and I reccomend it over the Razor mouse. It is insanely light!!!! :)

I have both. Right away I can say the Razer mouse isn't on the same level as Logitech when it comes to build quality. But for me Razer Viper is perfectly shaped. Slightly lower than G Pro W. Razer Viper would be my new favorite, but all the problems with Razer stops it. Things like buttons not registering clicks, squeaky buttons and docking not allways charging.

When looking at the sRAV of each of the mice, I can't wait to ditch my Viper Ultimate and get a G Pro Wireless. For those who haven't heard of sRAV before, it means Speed-Related Accuracy Variation, or the difference in accuracy at different DPI (CPI) levels. The G Pro Wireless, according to RTINGS, has a 0% variation at 800 and 1600 CPI while the Viper Ultimate does not, and the variation with the Viper Ultimate is very noticeable. I'm okay with using wired mode to get rid of the extra 3ms of click latency (Also found on RTINGS), so the mouse just sounds like a great deal, especially being around the same price as the Viper Ultimate. And the easier to scroll scroll wheel will come in handy for those intense moments when you really need the scroll wheel to move quickly.

I've been set on the Viper for a while, but this has made me second guess that choice. Is the G Pro wireless good for fingertip too? I play in finger tip grip so I figured I should get the Razer instead. I like the idea of better glide. I wasn't concerned about the extra side buttons, but now I'm worried they might annoy me. I watched comparisons for ages before picking the GPW and I've had 0 regrets since. I gamed extensively with my mate's viper ultimate and its an incredible mouse. I even think in terms of features it edges out the GPW. 2 things were deciding for me: 1) im a hybrid palm/fingertip style mouse user and I feel the GPW is better suited for this. 2) my big fingers got in the way of the right mouse button of the viper ultimate, the buttons are slightly wider and they got in the way. There is also a bit more travel time, making the clicks feel less crisp. Although the switch once it finally clicks does feel slightly better. 2 amazing mice, cant go wrong with either, just make sure to look at all the nittpicky details before picking, theyre expensive :)

IMO just get the one that costs the least if the price is the issue, if it isn't I'd go for the viper, yes I know the viper is heavier and all but the shape is generally considered better and it has a better build. i'd just watch as many reviews as you can and make an educated choice. i'd also watch some rocketjumpninja he has a website where he's ranked all the top mice.

Logitech prone to double click issues, both my 502 AND my 403 now exibit this behavior every now and then -- MANY reports on Logitech double click issue -- be aware people and research as much as you can and be patient...no sense dropping big bucks like this only to run into issues only weeks later (or sooner) just thought I'd warn you guys - peace!

Love your vids as always. I broke my GPro Wireless while taking it apart...very sad. Got the Viper Ultimate, love it but prefer ergo so after having and loving the original Basilisk, I picked up the Basilisk Ultimate. A bit heavy but love the shape. Buttons on either are fine, I liked the way my thumb was just touching the bottom of the Viper buttons. I don't use them often (more when web browsing vs gaming). I love the docking "station", easy. I'm not seeing an issue with the feet and dragging but my hearing is terrible and I don't push down on the mouse..... still trying to figure out what mouse to get to follow your vid on changing the cable...will likely break another mouse... but "no pain...." I have considered medium hands and I currently have the logitech G203 I wanted to know if the G pro is larger since the 203 mouse is too small for me. Also I love the videos pls keep making them they are awesome and so are you! :)

Great video again man! Love them. Do you think in the future you could do the best wireless gaming mouse for palm users ? I can’t play any other way. The Logitech g pro is just to small for my hand. I have long fingers and a bigger palm. So it’s hard to find a good mouse that’s comfortable enough for me.

I like the Gpro - the first one I had had a bad double click issue that took like a month to resolve because Logitech wants you to download a program to test its double click. Then they want you to video the program and the mouse at the same time (external video from a phone or camera). Then they have to review the film. Then they decided if they will replace your mouse. Took way too long to replace the mouse when that happened. And now my second mouse is starting a strange double click issue. I would advise buying it at best buy or something and buying a protection plan so you can just replace it quickly rather than waiting on logitec.

Why have you bought a second GPW ? lol you crazy man! But I feel you, having tried both of them, the GPW is much more worth its price than the Viper Ultimate. As you previously said in another review, it's better to take the wired Viper for cheaper because there isn't much difference between the two versions, unlike the GPW that doesn't have a wired version.

The Logitech G Pro Wireless is the best feeling mouse in the world. The shape, the feel, the scroll wheel, the skates, and the pressure point of all of the buttons are all perfection. There is nothing better. I don't care what anyone says. Fight me. I have the Shroud Edition G Pro Wireless, classic black G Pro Wireless, and a white G Pro X Superlight.

solid video but wrong advice! not recommended to stick Bluetooth adapter into laptop directly because very often it interferes with wi-fi, which messes up the game. high ping and very unstable.

It ultimately ends with what grip, hand size, and eh.. price tag. You don't need to worry about the sensor, battery life, wireless connectivity. I have G Pro Wireless, definitely one of the best mouse purchases I have ever made, the grip is versatile, weight "was" amazing for the time considering it's wireless, but I feel like I should try (or maybe get) the Viper Ultimate at some point.

Just wonder if those rubber side grips are attached directly to mouse or its attached with double side tip, i had deathadder chroma that was big isue due to rubber side was implemented with double side tip which went off at summer hot period, so i had to fix it with glue myself lul, overall great channel keep good work.

viper has better grip, better battery, charging dock, better better switches, and better sensor better mouse. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO outside of being on paper better i just enjoy the grip better and that its a little lighter than the gpro and its just convenient i dont need to plug it in ever.

I ordered the G Pro Wireless. After reading these comments, I heard that there was double clicking. So I want some advice on what mouse I should actually be using. I use all my mouse buttons for fortnite. So I need a mouse with good mouse buttons. I am coming from the g502. Another thing is that I lay my hand all across my mouse with my fingers and palm flat. What mouse do you guys recommend between the g pro wireless and the razor viper ultimate?

Thanks for the review. I still picked razer. Design is very very nice, more modern and cooler for than logitech. Dock is also a very nice accessory to put on the table.
