For the scroll wheel: Unscrew. Put your fingernail between the top and bottom half. Screw back in. The gap should solve the friction problem.

This mouse has the worst scroll wheel I've ever felt. Heavy, clunky. It's awful, ruins the entire experience.

Heavy and clunky is best. Many professionals use the the scroll wheel as a middle mouse button. (Left Click / Middle Click/ Right Click) I use the scroll wheel as a middle mouse button for After Effects video editing and when using 3D modeling software's. If the scroll wheel is smooth and slippery you can't use it as a middle mouse button. Because you will scroll when you want to click.@@Indydi

Why do they have to hide the screws under the teflon pads. So stupid. Who cares if you could see the screw heads. Now you have to damage the teflon pads to open the mouse. Of course all mice I've seen have done it like this, guess everyone is stupid. They care more about aesthetics (for something you normally never even see) than functionality. Or I suppose they don't want you to open the mouse so they don't want it to be easy.

These pads actually determines the warranty of mouse. If these pads are missing or damaged company will reject the claims.

They are called skates. You can find sheets of them on Amazon. Just cut them to your mouse size and paste them. Some manufacturers sell them seperately but are usually expesivr

Me acabo de dar cuenta al ver este video que fui estafado en mercadolibre; mii "logitech g305" es pirata. El interior no luce así, siino más simple, la placa fenólica es verde y tiene los componentes simiilares al de un mouse genérico económico que tengo. Después de 8 meses de uso, simplemente se apagó para no volver a encender jamás. El logo de Logitech se borró un 85% en este tiempo de uso, la rueda del mouse se siente muy duro en cierto punto del giro. La pila nunca me duró más de 1 mes. 😔

Totally agree, mine is 6 months old and scrolling is erratic to say the least. There is something fundamentally wrong with the design of this mouse. I have to clean it every 2 weeks.

I've had this exact mouse for 3 years, not a single issue until now (But I easily fixed by just using isopropyl alc), probably quality control problem rather than actually being bad
