I actually like the fact there isn't any braiding in the cable since the braiding in my G502 got ripped somehow (or the cable just pushed through it) and now the cable is bent at a really acute angle and it's permanently kinked

My ancient USB Compaq keyboard actually has most of the features this has, minus the lights and profiles. Who needs them though. It even can hold my phone between the number keys and the F keys.

thanks for the great review, picked myself one of these up on amazon on your recommendation and its a fantastic keyboard, a great buy and very happy with it. well recommend for an avid gamer. since the review the price has dropped. I hate brown switches because it sounds like plastic rubbing against each other when you press down on the keys (travel), but love the bottoming out sound of course... these sound like brown switches.

It's ok keyboard, I had to buy it as it was the only nice feeling keyboard in stock right away. I have to say that I really like the Romer-G feel and its not too loud. I also love the volume wheel on keyboard. I think I paid 159,9€ for it

What's the difference between the Orion Spark and the Orion Spectrum??

The only difference is the keycaps. The Orion Spark has very concave keycaps that are contraversial, where as the Orion Spectrum has more traditional/flatter keycaps. Other than that, they are the same keyboard (although I heard the wrist rest may be different as well, but that's it).

I always wondered why people want a braided wire. My mouse has one, but it always catches onto the edges of my huge mat and causes it to damage the braids and sometimes even gets stuck. It is very annoying and looks really ugly after a month. All this "catching onto the mat" thing causes the braided wire to unweave. Plus, it catches dust really easily.

I just got this keyboard and I'm not sure yet if I like it. I've always used logitech keyboards and the only other brand I've used was a ms keyboard and I didn't use it long (pos). I had the 1st version of the g15 and the L key stopped working,so I got the 2nd version (about 8-9 years ago) and it still works great but wanted to give this keyboard a try. One of the main reasons I like the g15 is because of the built-in display and I don't really like using my phone as the display. Feels cheap? My wallet didn't think so, but on that note, If you bought it,then the price wasn't really a factor was it? But no,the keyboard doesn't feel cheap to me. I also figured out how to dim the led's.When you open the gaming software and in the area where you can change the effects, where the color circle is,you have two slider bars. use the bottom slider to dim the led's and then click that little color square.

G910 Still the only board to buy in 2020. However I rocked a Spark for about a decade before it shit itself only this year (damn you 2020). I went down and bought what i thought was the exact same keyboard. However i was mistaken the build quality on the newer Spectrum feels cheap, the switches themselves have changed to a more clicky feel as opposed to the tactile feel of the original. also the keycaps themselves have been downgraded & are much smaller than the original. The Newer Version also feels slightly lighter too leading me to believe less quality parts / Materials used ETC.

The Orion Spark had Keycaps wich where hated from users. So Logitech made a new G910, with normal keycaps. Also i think they changed something about the wrist wrest.

Warning: do not buy this complete garbage of a keyboard if you want something that lasts longer than two years. The Romer G switches are just one huge design flaw and will fail at about two years, just out of waranty. Logitech customer 'support' sucks and they don't take the customer serious on this matter. Well with me they have lost a life long and loyal customer. I've been buying there stuff since I was a kid but now they've lost me. How can they expect the customer to accept that a 150+ dollar keyboard fails just after two years!? Especially considering that when they released this garbage they advertised with the higher durability and reliability of the Romer G switches.. Be warned and don't buy this if you want something that lasts more than 2 years.
