The lack of any need for (often buggy) lighting software is a PLUS and any lighting other than constant on is dumb anyway IMO. I wish it came with red lighting, though. Another advantage: the lack of troughs under the keys makes cleaning with an air can more effective.
@TurboLoveTrain5 ай бұрын
That's a major selling point. Backlit keycaps are extremely helpful and non gamers only need a solid backlight color or color-zone map.

To control the light brightness and turn them OFF and ON - Hold FN key plus F1 to F2 to change the lights. No instructions in box 😞 . One negative , You wont be able to see the keys if the lights are off. This happens on most lighted keyboards if it is all black. All in All i like the keyboard. You can't go wrong with this Logitech Keyboard for under 60 bucks. Plus it does NOT feel cheap. well made AND has weight to it. Thanks for the video I rate this 4.6 out of 5 - took off 0.4 points for no instruction in the box on how to work the lights. I had to come here on how to control the lights. UPDATE: I found the instructions on controlling the lights. It is on back of the inner brown box. Turn the box over. 5 out of 5

Looks like I need the brown switches. I'm trying to find a quiet keyboard. Edit: Okay... This is the loudest keyboard I've EVER OWNED! But to be fair, It's an Aukey Keyboard and not a Logitech one. I thought all brown switch keyboards were supposed to be quiet... 🙁

1:36 "it also connects via USB-C to your computer". Can you confirm this? I can find no indication that this keyboard comes in a USB-C version. Looking at other unboxing videos, it appears to use the normal USB connector (i.e. USB-A).

The off function for a lot of Logitech backlighting is a big plus for me, fuck those wasted LEDs.

Great review. I'm not sure why Logitech doesn't build in a reprogrammable function for SL (Scroll Lock) and PB (Pause/Break) keys, which most people would never use. Also, they might have decoded a few more keys on the back of the box, namely: PS (Print Screen), HM (Home), PU (Page Up), and PD (Page Down). I wouldn't use an add-on application to reprogram these keys even if it did work, due to the added security risk. Very fine review!

I have the Cherry Red and TTC Red and the TTC is quieter and easier to press even though they technically have the same 45g actuation force. Keep that in mind if you're considering which one to get. I personally like the TTC.

3 year old vid but still relevant Thanks m8 I just ordered this for my parents, who are 80, because of the back lit legends and lighter key pressure required for actuation. Both of my parents have wrist and hand issues and both hunt and peck type (and wear glasses) so the back lit keys are Ideal. The only thing I wish I could find an answer for (because my parents hasn't arrived yet) is: Does the backlighting remember it's previous setting when you power cycle the computer or do you have to turn it on every time? I'm not opposed to hardwiring the lights on but I'd prefer to not have to.

got the cherry red which is supposedly silent, loudest keyboard i've heard in my life comparing all mechanical keyboards i've used and heard too
@jugalator2 жыл бұрын
"Cherry MX Red" is not built to be silent but light and with linear actuation. "Cherry MX Silent Red" is like that but relatively silent too, but a bit mushier. Two different switches. And this keyboard is not sold with the Cherry MX Silent Red switch.
@MILKWynn10 ай бұрын
Add o rings to dampen the noise. Else u are choosing the wrong type of switches for silence. Reds are not for silence. Linear hits the bottom and they are loud. It depends on how hard you type too. Linear has no resistance and they go all the way down

@johnny25989 ай бұрын
Why ?
@RSV4JeffA3 жыл бұрын
It's not GOING TO BE a full-size keyboard. It IS a full-size keyboard. The keys ARE made of plastic. It IS gray with a matte finish. There ARE rubber legs on the corners. I really don't understand why "it's going to be" is used so often when referring to something that already IS something. When I hear someone using this term in the manner you're using it, I think "when?". You're not talking about caterpillars becoming butterflies or tadpoles becoming frogs.

that's because he's talking to the viewer as if they're going to buy and receive it. in response to your "when" question, it's referring to the time frame in which the keyboard does get received. ex: when you receive it, it's going to be a full-sized keyboard
