Im watching Colton coming out on Netflix. I think its wonderful that he is doing this for himself. No longer having to be in shackles anymore. I noticed many things during his documentary.. The one that stands out the most is... Where is his apology to his HS girlfriend after he broke up with her for being sexual. All these years she had no idea the real reason he broke up with her, his own inner demands and took it out on her. At some point Colton, there are amends you must make yourself to people you have hurt. Even from the Bachelor show, the final 4 women and the one he chose. Come out and make an apology for those who have been hurt by you. Heck even me, the viewer of Bachelor, I too have been deceived by you. Yes their are legit reasons but, still the audience still should receive an apology. That would be the right thing to do. Happy for you!! Until he apologizes to many including me,audience, Cassie, final 4, HS girlfriend and others. He will still be a privileged white lying male who has dooped us all.

The sexual chemistry is on fire. 1, 2, 3 flirt... 1, 2, 3 flirt... lol. Colton is like a big kid... like a huge teddy bear....so sweet... Ok nice. Really well asked. Reflected upon. And answered authentically... from where you are.....nice.... Colton demonstrates how real it is for gay men to hide and their anxiety and the escalating social taboo of being gay in a much larger context & the fire & brimstone consequences real or imagined for each of us VIs-a-VIs the idea of being a man of faith or religious or spiritual .... you know? It ain't easy.... rejection is real, bullying is real, violence is real, being disowned by family & friends is real, not knowing what to do or how to do it is real, etc. Great interview. I luved how human it was. And I didn't get a sense of trying to catch Colton in something like many segments like this do.... especially for lgbtqia folks.... because you weren't born knowing all the answers & being a role model for the entire community. Lol. Thank you for such an authentic & honest dialog.... without shaming or dissecting toxic privilege or masculinity as a punitive weapon....to prove he isn't one of us or needs consequences for his actions.... we beat each other's up a lot, but mostly ourselves when we don't have forgiveness or empathy in our hearts.....we are not perfect.... At the end of the day, accountability is great. And needed sure.... but how can you be accountable in a vacuum, without safety or awareness or exploration into self & identity or at least some support and self-acceptance? Colton is who he is... and he made choices like all of us.... some good, some not great, but that was his journey & he's learning & growing... as best as he can....and I see a happier man willing to look at himself & his choices... and that reach for responsibility.....and proverbial accountability......but let's be honest, there is so much more to life.... Well done mate. Ps.... what was the show Colton did on Netflix? And is it currently still on now ---in dec 2021? Will someone please share the name of the show and more information?

You do realize that coming out can be a really hard process for some people due to religious beliefs and homophobic families, right? Not everyone is lucky enough to have wonderful open-minded people in their lives. Some people have to literally be somebody else just because their countries don't allow them to be gay because it's illegal, some countries literally throw gays off buildings. You're probably one of the lucky ones who were born in a good family environment and you never really experienced any of those type of homophobia so before you speak, try to think deeper next time. Not everything is about you, honey. Some people do want to be themselves but they just can't, not because they're fucking "cowards" like you said but because they just can't and won't want to risk their lives. So don't just say ignorant shit like that without knowing someone's background or family.

Colton when it comes to "Can I be gay and still have God in my life" just remember that Jesus only hung out with men. 12 of them to be pacific tho John the Baptist was Jesus's fav. In Jesus's 33 years on earth he never dated a female. When I was 12 year old I thought Oh Wow!! Jesus was gay and never suffered at the hands of haters. I wish Jesus could have set up the human race for success were they born to be gay but at least he addressed the issue by preaching love for your brothers and we are our brothers keeper etc Jesus definitely supported gay is what I interpretation Even in Jesus's day people were very verbal with their thoughts and physical with their feelings especially with other peoples business. I pray that your Journey including your book will help save the life of even one young gay struggling with the way he was born. I laughed and I cried my way thru your whole Journey and now I wish you Love and Happiness as now you finally have It All 💞from🇨🇦

He let it slip a few times on the show. I commented on it and guessed he was secretly gay to my fiance while we watched the Bachelor. Turns out I was right.

He's just so...basic lol Like, this story of a Conservative Christian White dude is not groundbreaking in 2021. I'm sorry, but it isn't. Like, we have heard voices like his and identical stories like his since the 90s. We rarely ever get to to hear the voice of a Muslim lesbian coming out, or a conservative Hindu gay man living in the West story!? There are soooo many other LGBT stories and experiences...yet the TV networks always just go for the "Cute white Christian boy" trope 🙄

He actually exposed the world of football and sport in general, that still in 2021 is a homophobic environment. I think it was a good thing actually

It’s always the white gays™️ that get to be “the face” like when love Simon came out first THEN they rolled out love victor.

@@ToniCarrington exactly! We rarely ever see Asian Gay stories in Western media...or Indian LGBT voices...and these Gays have legitimate stories to share too!

You are ausome, Colton. Keep up your Christian walk with God. Jesus loves you and if you have excepted him into your life then you will be with him in paradise. Bless you always.

Do you all want to know what ultimate privilege is? It is the privilege to have the freedom and audacity to actually tell someone they are privileged. Let's talk about liberal privilege next.

Yeah the hypocrisy and lack of self-awareness is off the charts, but when you’re in a cult, you have to expect cult-like behavior
@rolo89502 жыл бұрын
Exactly. It's really bizarre that these people have the audacity to tell someone to their face that they are privileged without knowing anything about them except surface level things. Makes me mad. Liberals are going to get crushed in these mid terms and they will lose Congress and the Senate...

This is what you get when you are good looking and comes out and want to share your secret that you have kept hidden while being a total creep towards females for a long time(the way he came out almost sounded like he had incurable brain cancer or something), Netflix throws a show after you, because personality he has not…..not trying to be a hater, but can’t stand that guy.

today as compared to yesterday has me naustated by this. This is comparison which is bad to do. NO two people are the same and comparing oneself with another is bad. Colton came out on Netflix in a show and all boyfriends should be weary of Colton for that.
