Throughout his life he wanted a throne so he could rule and have glory and be appreciated and recognized and worshipped and in the end he didn't even want one anymore, just wanted to belong and have friends and family and purpose that wasn't glorious and he got the throne anyway and nobody outside the TVA will even know that he sacrificed everything to save them. Loki had the best character arc in all of the MCU.

But can we acknowledge just how spectacular the score was??? This may be the best music I’ve ever heard in an MCU project, and certainly in any TV show I’ve ever watched. Natalie Holt NEEDS to get an Emmy for this score, if she doesn’t… it would be an absolute crime. Secondly, the acting performances of Sophia and Owen were amazing, but my god Tom was spectacular. I hope this performance gets him all the jobs. Lastly, Cinematography by Isaac Bauman was phenomenal. Everything about this show was incredible, But I’m not going to stop thinking about this Original Soundtrack for a very, very long time.

I'm inclined to think when Our Loki asked classic Loki 'what was your nexus..... I exiled myself on an uninhabited rock for a very very long time.... What happened..... I got lonely.

This was a pretty awesome ending for Loki. He looked at peace at the end. Stunning visuals and the music , wow. Look at Loki’s journey, his father in Valhalla must be so happy.

Honestly, I’m so sad. My heart hurts that this character was whatever, but ultimately sacrificed himself- literally his whole self- for his friends.

It DOES feel like the end of Loki. It's sad and I felt like crying, but at the same time it's such a beautiful and fulfilling ending for his character. The growth of Loki throughout has been so epic and it's a fitting ending that he'd be the God of time and story Weaver. That he'd sacrifice himself to save his friends and time. I love the tree of life and the whole Norse mythology feel to it. Finally he just felt so powerful and larger than life. I loved it! He's definitely a centric character in the MCU for me and one of my favorites right now. 💚

I love Loki (I read Norse mythology as a kid). I’m really happy about the character arc that they had for him in the MCU. It was heartbreaking to see him alone at the end, but I’m glad he was able to redeem himself.

I totally agree with you on this finale 💯‼️😊 knowing that this is probably the series finale of Loki makes me a bit sad but I know that I can always go back and just watch the Thor and Avengers films and Loki again. So while it’s sad that it’s ending I loved 🥰 the ending and I can’t wait to see how the timeline has been changed in the MCU. 5⭐️+ for Loki season 2‼️💯

There are a lot of little Doctor Who homages throughout this series but this finale in particular felt like a great Matt Smith DW episode. Amazing.

I love this ending even though it's very bittersweet. Loki's Glorious Purpose has finally come by sacrificing himself to stop the Temporal Loom from destroying everything except the Sacred Timeline, becoming the next He Who Remains/God of Stories. When Loki locks Mobius and Sylvie out and tearfully says goodbye to them, he says the same words he said to Odin right before seemingly dying. Loki: For you. For all of us. Loki's purpose is a glorious one, but the burden is completely heavy, where he is completely alone, unable to be with his loved ones ever again. Still Loki gets watch over them from countless timelines on a throne at the end of the world. No subjects to rule over, no family, no friends. Just him. His god attire isn't fancy, no gold trimmings, as it emphasizes the "burden" he places on himself.

Feels like Tom Hiddleston was **destined to lose** the role of THOR originally, to have a **phenomenal 📈 arc** in his acting career ,and **even save a dying MCU** at a defining point and have great **closure** . Hmm.... I ll just assume he was destined to play Loki 😅.

This has been the best from mcu for me, I think the kid mobius was supposed to prune but couldn't was kid loki at the end of time. Also lokis tears in that last scene were real, they had all been saying their goodbyes on set right before filming this scene
