With his death he set up the Immortus we know, along with Kang, Iron Lad, Kid Immortus and Pharoah Rama Tut ... probably what the upcoming movies are going to track in Phase IV and V ... eventually dealing with the whole "Nathaniel Richards" stuff in FF.

pretty cool to think that since marvel has now established their universe, an event on par with the snap is now the catalyst and beginning of something for this new phase and era. now that they've put in the work, events like these no longer need to be built up to movie by movie only for climax to skip ahead five years after the event (the snap) so they can close out the story. really leaves a lot of room to explore these events now, or i would hope so anyway.

I disagree, the time line was natural branched and Khan forced it a reality which benefited him and therefore removing people’s free will and pruning innocent people because they start creating their own reality. The timeline was trying to break free and that’s why there was so much chaos. You can’t force everyone into one reality where they don’t get to choose because of different versions of you.

But now various timelines are spreading and will connect with each other in the 31st Century. In the MCU timeline, Iron Man and Black Widow are still dead and Captain America (the first one) is still retired. If IM, BW or CA return, it won’t be the original ones with have had since 2008

@@harrymillar4193 well Gomora is back, for example and that is not included in Loki. In "End Game" they establish time travel rules just so they break them in the same movie. If you look at the story it is messy. And Loki and this multiverse opens up huge can of worms where they can do whatever they want. I am 100% sure Loki will be back in main MCU universe, maybe by somehow traveling there to warn them. I am not a fan of time travel and multiverses since that is just a ploy for cheap storytelling. To be honest, I like street level superhero stories far better then this universe level bullshit, feels more relatable. It is just my taste and I am not judging others if they like other things.

Trust me whenever I say Kang is easily the most powerful villain we have come up against so far, he is basically the next Thanos, but so much more powerful. I’m really excited for the next few years of the mcu, Loki has given perfect hype for people that know who Kang is. Also Johnathon Majors (forgive me if I spelled his name wrong) did an amazing job as Kang, and I know he’ll do a great job in the future as well 😁

I have a feeling that each Universe has their own TVA and of course timeline which can branch creating smaller timelines which only exist in that universe. The TVA from the end could be from one of these universes which is now ready to go to war with the other universes under the command of Kang. My other theory is once this future "good" Kang was killed this rewrote the TVA and the events of Loki and all its conflicts with Loki's in general as they would've known who Loki was by his face alone as they captured so many over the years meaning in this new TVA they never went after Loki's. If the TVA exists within the universe (We know it exists outside of time) then my first theory could be very likely but if the TVA does not exist in a universe but outside then its most likely my 2nd theory with this one there can only be one TVA which overseer's all universes.

there's one TVA but it's attributes are defined by whichever kang is in charge. time isn't linear meaning after sylvie killed he who remains (kang variant) a bunch of brmaches formed ...and a dimension war started and/or ended and/or is still ongoing ... which results in kang the conqueror in charge of the TVA now and he puts his own variants and staff in charge and he prunes the lines as he sees fit. no matter what happens there's always a kang in charge at the end (or the council of kangs who look after their own timeliness and help each other maintain control). Once the kang in charge gets bored or killed then a new war starts until another kang wins and end up charge....

Pretty sure the TVA exists outside of time but not sure if it exists outside of the universe if not then its possible that every universe has its own version of the TVA each having their own timelines as well along with branches which only exist in that universe. If this is the case then this event was picked up by every TVA and the ones under Kings control may be ready to go to war with the other universes. If the TVA does exist outside of the universes then i believe its possible that there's only a single TVA who oversee all universes once Kang was killed by Sylvie this rewrote the events of Loki to have never happened along with the TVA being after Loki's in general as they would've known who Loki was from his face alone as they captured so many over the years.

I thought the TVA exist outside of time and space, so there's only one. I mean whenever a new branch appeared, the TVA wasn't copied, it was always the same TVA pruning every unwanted branch. There was only one Kang varient (the one we met this episode) as the head of this one TVA. But as they said, time works differently there. I think it only means the the big villain Kang already took over, and wiped everyone's memories in the TVA.

Had to post two things I caught from this episode: In Judge Renslayer's office with Mobius, did you notice that the reels of the Reel to Reel Player are missing? She didn't take them in that bag of hers. I feel this is a metaphor of "No Time" or "Time stands still". When we see Kang talking with E616 Loki & Sylvie, there's a bad edit cut for a slight second that shows Kang's Egyptian Variant. I believe its this Variant that we should be most afraid of next. Just a thought.

Enter JONATHAN MAJORS in IMMORTUS-mode as 'He Who Remains' chewing the apple of knowledge and all the scenery with it! Lol. Ravonna stares wistfully at Mobius' water ring stains on her furniture wishing she hadn't needed to prune the guy. Rebuffed by the Lokis, Miss Minutes brings some Forbidden intel straight from Immortus as a Plan B. B-15 exposes the pursuing Minutemen to the truth behind Ravonna and themselves! Ravonna was a principal at FDR High in Ohio the year of the Snap! Mobius confronts Ravonna and he goes down like a chump! She departs through a portal with her Forbidden Knowledge in search of free will. What has Immortus directed her to do? I'm pretty sure this Kang IS Kang the Conqueror. This was all a trap as he was held in the place beyond the void, so he had the two lokis come through, start to break the timelines, then knew Sylvie would kill him at the end, that's why he asked if she could trust, and she said no. Plus why he wasn't scared and got happy, It wasn't he "didn't know" It was the timeline was already too fractured cause of the TVA all learning everything, then killing him sets him free from his cage. Thus, Kang the Conqueror was just pulling the strings to get himself released all along.

Well, technically all lokis share a lot of traits and backstory and motivations... and powers. Its kinda weird and narcissistic. She is her own person but the show demonstrates a lot of paralels. Of hundreds of years of existence, loki only was ever able to connect on this deep of a level with someone who hugely reminds him of his person. The chemistry is there tho and i like it

Why is everyone saying that Loki went to a different timeline version of the TVA? They explained that TVA exists above all time in a pocket dimension. So there can only be one TVA. There can be 3 reasons Mobius and B-15 don't know Loki and there was a Kang statue - 1. Since He Who Remains Died and he was the one preventing any branches, so branches started growing throughout the Sacred Timeline(which also means before the creation of the TVA) and some other version of Kang (possibly evil) created this TVA and the older TVA never existed. And this version of Kang probably doesn't care about getting his hands dirty so he didn't use the fake Time Keepers. 2. If we consider that the timeline BEFORE the threshold was made according to He Who Remains and hence it cannot grow any branches even after his death then it means the branches can only begin to grow after the threshold because FREE WILL became a thing after that so some version of Kang (again possibly evil) went to our original TVA and wiped everyone's memories and took control of the TVA(original one). 3. The 3rd possibility is a mixture of both 1st and 2nd. That branches started erupting THROUGHOUT the timeline whether before the THRESHOLD or after it. But He Who Remains only created the TVA as we knew it (The original one). But some evil Kang after the creation of the TVA took control of it and wiped everyone's memory and became its ruler. And he doesn't care about being seen ruling the TVA so no Fake Time Keepers. And in all the 3 cases since Loki and Sylvie were at the END OF ALL TIME when all of this was happening so they retained their memories because they were unaffected by all this chaos.

For example in this paradox the thanos coming to the future thing would of happend originally in 2014 and he would of only found the stones when he did in endgame. Since it’s the same “timeline” then when you change that paradox to multiple universes it plays the same kind of role that like kang was saying. He will always be the one in charge. Making each timeline the same over and over again. I mean this is applying actual physics to movies so i guess it’s really how much you wanna play it.

I saw someone point out how AFTER the time-line passed the threshold, Kang claimed not to know what was going to happen, however he mentions being stabbed in the chest and opening up the Multiverse which actually happens! so that got me thinking, could this be a time loop? This version of Kang dies, which in turn makes the mulitiverse open up, then the War happens, then its pruned to 1 time line, then Loki and Sylvie go back here and the same thing happens?! 🤯

Sylvie was right it was all con with the "gambit" that "He that remains" described was too limited for a Multiverse because Doctor Strange would tell her as The Sorcerer Supreme, he would know that the Multiverse it so vast with every possible timeline occurring that there will always be some that will be at war while others will have peace after all it is happening Tao and Zen so trying to force it in a narrow stream is futile because that would only affect a part of the Multiverse not the entire thing

I think in Multiverse of Madness Wanda is going to play a crucial role because as established in WandaVision she is a Nexus Being and hence has the ability to affect the probablity and thus the future. So if taken to a specific time say before a Nexus Event is about to happen she may affect the probablity in such a way that the branch never sprouts.

So, Kang (or all of his variants) will be the next overarching villain, nice. I must say, when they revealed Gorr as the Love & Thunder villain i almost believed they would use Knull. Luckily, they seem to want to wait before unleashing someone that kills celestials as a hobby on the MCU.

I've been a huge fan of the MCU since 2008. But I'm not a comic book reader. When ever a new movie/character has been announced, I go to the internet and look up everything I can about that story/character. I.E. Civil War, Infinity war, Winter solider etc. Now I'm going to start going to these shows/movies with a clean slate, knowing nothing. I don't believe looking up facts about the comics decreased my enjoyment by any means. But imagine if you did go into phase 1-3 completely blind. I'm excited.
