Made this tonight for tea…yuuuuuum. The bun is so soft and fluffy. My sauce needed more water but i think it’s due to the coconut cream i was using - very thick and fatty. Thanks for the recipe 🙂

Can I use self raising flour?
@SBLtasteoffiji3 жыл бұрын
I’m sorry but I haven’t tried it with self rising flour. With the yeast, it may not work well given it has a rising agent in it already.

Can coconut milk be used instead of coconut cream. I can't get coconut cream in my area.
@SBLtasteoffiji3 жыл бұрын
Yes, you can. If you put the coconut milk in the fridge for a few hours, the cream separates and you can scrape that out. The coconut cream adds a nice creaminess but coconut milk would work well too.

Hi can i use plain flour instead of bread flour
@SBLtasteoffiji4 жыл бұрын
Yes you can. If you have access to vital wheat gluten, you can add that to plain flour to make “bread flour” at home. But plain flour alone will also yield good results.

What brand coconut cream do you use?
@SBLtasteoffiji5 жыл бұрын
I prefer to use Kara brand because it’s always thick and creamy. If you have a Trader Joe’s or Whole Foods in your area, their store brand coconut cream is great too!
@mavisrumble63835 жыл бұрын
@@SBLtasteoffiji okay I'll look for that on my end, thank you! Do you dilute the cream at all?
@SBLtasteoffiji5 жыл бұрын
Mavis Rumble I don’t. They usually have some water content in the package which tends to separate if you don’t shake it well. Just shake the container before you open it so the cream isn’t too thick.

Pls I really need to know the recipe please can you please type here the recipe please Miss
Either will work. I've used both. If your coconut cream is too thick, then just water it down a little. Some of the coconut creams sold at the stores now are pretty much just the cream which is fattier (the ones used to make vegan coconut whipped cream).
