yeah it does, i remember when it came out and i had an dark angel at the time and it was 75-80% of the gun i had in range & accuracy and was pretty quiet, there were ball chops more than my angel, but was very infrequent at about 1 in every 700'ish, but was easier to set up and just go straight from the box, and with a $75-$150 aftermarket 12"-14" evil pipe it was just super nice. the bushmasters were only 60% of the dark angel in those aspects and had too many problems with ball chops. a warp feed on a bush master was just a hard no unless you were expert at cleaning broken balls in the field under fire. i bought a mini a couple years after my group bought theirs as their new primaries, and this was my back up or my light gamer, just so nice, only needed a new back adapter for my evil pipe kit.

love how he stopped the testing on the axe 2.0 at 8:41 right when the ball was chopped....as a store owner/sales guy makes it hard to sell the big brother. ball chops are life, good testing would have been to keep shooting to see how fast and well it cleared and still kept you playable, instead of having to leave the game and go clean your marker.

I’ve got a 2.0 put about 10,000+ paintballs through it, never had a chop. Only problem I had was with BAD paint, I mean it was bad! A square paintball would have performed better. I wasn’t the only one using the box and they were saying the same! I love my 2.0 and can’t see myself getting another any time soon!

I know you made this comment a year ago but let me hop in. There is almost no differences between the Axe 2.0 and the Mini GS w/ the 2 piece barrel besides the easier maitenance of the Axe 2.0 w/ the tooless bolt removal and the removable eye covers. But for those reasons alone it's worth the upgrade. I don't think people realize the extent that you have to take apart the Mini GS to clean the eyes if you have paint break in the chamber.

Ive had a Mini GS before, never liked it. Newest Dye/Proto ive had was a '13 Reflex Rail, but it shot beautifully. Though I do know the Reflex Rail had better solenoids than the newer Rize models. Of the Mini GS vs the Valken Code, I fully suggest the Code for its better barrel, easier to service regulator, plus the stupid easy bolt removal and battery replacement. Both of which the Mini GS is severely lacking.

There's no reason why you would need to turn the pressure up on the reg. Here's best way to get the softest/quietest shot with an Axe: Step 1: Increase you velocity on the backcap until it starts to plateau about 325 FPS (+/-2 FPS) Step 2: Lower the pressure on your regulator and keep shooting your gun until you hit 290 FPS Done! You'll never have to mess with it again.

Quick little note for the videos. A lot of people do these side by side comparisons, and unlike some high school kid you guys have access to multiple tanks and multiple loaders. I'm just saying if you had the two setups both ready to go where Tony could put one down and pick the other one up, it would be a lot smoother for the people watching to be able to tell the difference between the two guns, It would seem much more professional.

@@aprilgeneric8027 okay your comment makes absolutely no sense as why it's posted under mine. First your statement of it shows you can use the same Hopper and air tank on both of them, if you don't know that Hoppers and air tanks are universal, you should probably consider talking to someone or just going on the most basic paintball website, to get at least a little knowledge about things before you consider spending money. And second ball chops and ball brakes are two different things. A ball breaking when the air hits it, or when the bolt hits it and it sprays broken paint down the barrel, or at the balls traveling through the barrel and it breaks are part of paintball. A chop however is when the bolt closes on a paintball that has not entered the breach all the way, chopping the ball in half. A chop is a pain in the ass because it only occurs when your eyes are not working properly, and generally it means the paint is now up in the bottom of your loader, or between your loader and your marker. You're not going to be able to shoot that clean, because the paint will be on the balls as they're entering the marker. Anyone that's played with autocockers knows that. That bit about if he's trying to sell it he shouldn't show it breaking paint. Well if he was really trying to sell the axe 2.0 hard he would show you the complete difference having external eye coverage makes for servicing the gun when you do break a ball in the breach or chops one. If you don't know the Axe 2.0 you take the eye covers off, clean out the eyes and then run a fluffy stick, or whatever cleaning rod you going to use right down through the entire body of the gun, put the bolt assembly back in and put your eye covers back on. You got a mini, you got to pull the bolt, remove the frame, and then pull off the upper board which has the eyes attached to it, and then try to clean out the little groove where the eyes go and clean off the eyes completely and since you have no way of accessing the internal groove if you got too much pain in there or it's older dried paint you will have to completely strip that body to nothing and then wash it out and then spray it out there to hopefully get all that pink out to prevent corroding of your eyes. Oh yeah I would definitely say maintenance on the mini is significantly more in depth, and as a selling point I'm pretty sure that would be a really good enough one to make somebody drop that extra $100. So unless he wants to keep people from looking at the dye czr, he's been overly generous to the mini

Anthony Rasa the mini gs regulator should be set at 200psig (marker side, not the tank). The gauge on the mini gs lets you know how much psi the marker has. It’s nice to know to the pressure. For instance my marker was set at like 150 psig, and the gauge let me know that it was under pressured.

@@chicofromph33nix64 Hit my timestamp and look for the brief spray/mist that you'll see blow out from the barrel to the right hand side of the screen as the wind catches it and blows it that way. Usually when you chop a paintball in your gun it gets completely shredded instantly, and then the blast of air behind it just turns the paint into a million little droplets and sends it all out the front and sides of the barrel where it looks like a fine colored mist.
