Letting go and letting God, can help, and certain forms of meditation or quiet reflection can help too. It settles the parasympathetic nervous system etc (which is hard to get at). I'm fond of the phrase "God helps those who help themselves" too, in that God can and does help, yet we need to follow regimes like those set out in the video as well. Good luck and good health 👍🤞✌️😊

I had symptoms for 9 month (but mine were after the v). My symptoms were: nocturnal anxiety attacks, very low tolerance to stress, inability to sit still, extreme agitation, racing thoughts, nightmares and depression. What gave me relief was listening to soothing music, Wim Hof’s breath work, ice baths and sadhguru’s meditations. One day I was desperate and and was searching on KZbin and ran into medical medium’s stuff. So i started drinking celery juice (16 oz first thing in the morning) followed by his heavy metal detox smoothies (banana, orange, cilantro, wild blueberries, spirulina and barley grass juice powder). After two months I felt like I had recovered. But there was till depression lingering on. I learned to make kefir at home and starters adding that to my smoothies. I think maybe the v really fked up my micro biome. But with the kefir the depression was gone. For the longest time, I would still think about the hell I went through and fking get scared. Those were terrifying times. I felt like I was in hell. I don’t wish that on anybody. I still think about it and I get tearful. To anybody reading this, please have hope. You will get through this. You have to give your body and brain a fighting chance though. Reduce inflammation at any cost, consume anti inflammatory foods, get plenty of sunlight and fresh air and PRAY!

I've had m.e. for at least 15 years. The differences between these two illnesses is very minimal. You should look into the work of " the open medicine foundation". They are a non for profit organization run by Ron Davies who invented the human genome project there seems to be several strands. Autoimmune attack on the blood vessels. Here you mention how oxygen is important. There is this thing in m.e. called the metabolic trap. The good news is, if Davies theory is correct, then the effect is immediate and can be reversed over a weekend. The lack of nitric oxide is part if the problem. Mast cell activation also stops blood flow and creates anxiety. So antihistamines will work. Look at the work of Dr afein... And also bob naviaux, a mitochondrial genius. You're doing so much right in my opinion but your instincts are correct, don't push, pace. This is gonna be cured thanks to Davies. He's trying to save his son who is extremely ill with m.e. His foundation started tracking the conversion to covid to long covid as soon as it happened because all us in the m.e. community know a virus and stress, once you pass a threshold, will take you out.

You are doing great, last hurdle is to stop caring. Stop caring that the symptoms have flared back up, stop being so determined to get rid of the last remaining symptoms because that sets you up for disappointment and over sensitised body scanning to detect if they are present or when they are coming on. This is a disorder that originates in the brain not body. The minute you stop taking them seriously they begin to dissipate, the hyper vigilance calms down so the brain relaxes this puts a stop to the fatigue!
@harveydann7015
@harveydann7015 Жыл бұрын
yes! i needed a reminder of this. Thank you. I have stints where i adapt this way of thinking and it really does help, why i always forget and go back to constantly being focussed on symptoms is baffling. I find that i'll adapt to not taking them seriously and then i'll tire myself out from doing too much when feeling way better and then they'll come back on again, so there's still a balance between physical and mental which can be hard to maintain.

Activation of the brain micrglial cells is hard to stop. You're right, visualiaing and keeping calm is correct. There's so many aspects to this illness, that it will have different expressions, just as breast cancer is a collection of different expressions. Anti inflammatories such as black seed oil etcwill calm the microglia. This is creating these sensitivities, PTSD like, as well as mast cell activation which can be tempered by anti histamineid also recommend Dr Perrins lymph drainage. Often backflow of lymph into the brain causes the inflammatory response in the brain. This can help really well too.

Yes loud noises and I live with a deaf partner who bangs about in the kitchen which has a laminate floor doeasnt help. I would say that this is the key indicator for me as to how my symptoms are fairing, the more jarring the more unwell I am, I believe it is the inflamation of the Brain. And sorry to say this that is a precursor to more acute and severe Brain disorders. The cold showers definitely help to cool things down, I focus as uch as possible on the main muscle groups, and above all the spinal chord and the back of the neck with the hope that this will have an anit-inflamatory effect. I love the way you have laid this out, will snap shot it. Nasal breathing is intresting my sinus has been blocked ever since I contracted the virus Was washing my sinus with saline, using a syrnge without the need of course, I will work on the sinus, especially as i have dry mouth which results in mouth ulcers, though ironically I have over active saliva glands. I think for me getting out of bed right away, if I dont I lie in the mess of my despairing ruminations. As for stress and Anxiety, stayig with my ex and trying to sell our flat, the stress has been off the chart and my sympttoms flare like a oiil rig burning off gas, As a result my list of symptoms grow worse and extend, tinitus, sinustis, headaces, dry eyes, sore ribs (which is a new and strange one) buring leg and arm and chest muscles,, especially if I go for a walk, any walk and a wee skin rash and pimples (which I think were the first signs). Anyway enough of my woes. Dont know if you have spoke about diet, beyond the sugar etc (which I had last night and was in athritic angoy today), do you follow and anti hisitmaine or ant anti-inflamatory diet. Also staing off TV I have found hard, bored, tried meditating more (supose to be a Buddhist), and audio books. But above I think you have nailed the key and that is routine.
