I suspect I have eds and have really bad pain from my mcp join on my pinky all the way down to my wrist joint. My pinky also feels like it clicks and catches on the top side when I bring it up. I can't even hold a pen for more than 5 minutes. Is there a way to tape that to help until I can get in to see an occupational therapist? Classes start up again soon and I have no idea how I'm going to manage it.

It sounds like it could possibly be a sagittal band laxity (sometimes it is due to trauma, some of us have it naturally, I actually have it on my middle and ring fingers). But if it’s causing pain definitely would be helpful to see a hand therapist! I bet you could tape from under the mcp joint and give tension around the back to support the joint. Usually these feel best when they’re given a little support into extension (straighter position)
