One thing for certain in this online space is people shouldn't take advice from random people who seem to think they're the beacon of knowledge when nobody is perfect. Take this "advice" with a pinch of salt and realise it's just an OPINION at the end of the day and don't run your life base on internet "gurus" Take what you can, drop whats not important but always do it your way and be happy. I can't take people at a certain age giving life advice on a life they haven't finished living fully yet and they themselves have potentially a lot of mistakes left to make. I strongly disagree. They can work if both people have trust and self- control and if it's a relationship built on God and His purpose. Everything isn't about sex and needing to fulfill fleshly needs. For couples who are abstinent until marriage, that isn't a concern. Long-distance isn't ideal, but it can work once both parties have maturity, commitment, communication, trust and a vision for the future.

I generally agree, but think it can work in certain situations. My current wife and I were long distance for several years (5). I was in medical school, and she was just starting out in a demanding career field. I think that fact that we were both very busy made it work. If we had tons of free time, and were out in the “party scene” it would’ve been a different story. We had just enough free time to miss eachother, but not enough time to dwell on it. Frequent visits help as well.

The way I see it ain’t no way ima be with someone whom I never video chatted never saw face to face and this person never once speaks about it but countless of times say it will happen. It takes two committed people, communication is crucial you gotta do way more communicating than a normal relationship due to the distance between the two. Definitely gotta have a plan with closing that gap sooner than later or else its pointless. Thats what happen to me, He cheated on me with multiple womens. He was dating me and was in 10 or more relationships behind my bck. I contacted 2 of the women. Boy! Boy! They was devastated. He was even having relations with his baby mama he met around 2008. I'm thinking I'm the only one in the picture, that shit hurted me like hell. Y'all its so much to this story, he was also a undercover registered sex- offender😮😮

I strongly disagree, cheating has nothing to do with distance. People cheat while living under the same roof. It's all about one's character and values. If you're not happy with how things are you either communicate and work through it. Or you communicate that you don't want to be in that relationship anymore. Has nothing to do with this or that.

Well, finding people in my area who’s not into relationship is a waste of time. I reached to the point to get a dating app to find someone available for a relationship and make more friends. It worked very well and I found someone who was available for a relationship, which it happened. We can even work things out if they get all struggling.

Depends on the 2 people. I disagree respectfully. Some couples work, some couples don’t 🤷🏾♀️💯

Sentient what does it mean that people don't setting things because they have desires which override logic most of the time. People have desires then they found a way to then they try to find a way to make their desires make sense through "logic".

It's funny how long distance boyfriends have always been more trustworthy than short distance ones

By his logic, people are going to cheat anyway, so I should choose someone locally to get cheated on?! 🤔 I’ll pass on a cheating partner period. Please and thank you in advance

I was in a long distance relationship (Kenya and America) for years. We've been married 7 years. Keep your delusions. Even neighbourhood relationships fail. A cheating spouse will cheat even in your presence.

I find it easier to have a Long distance relationship, atleast at first, makes me comfortable cause it forces them to get to know me and the other way around, our only interactions for a while are verbal and it also just shows someone's loyalty to you when they are willing to stick around, I can't see my lover for about 3-2 years but we're both completely fine with waiting for each other and just loving each other as much as we can

I would have been ok with this, but in my situation, one I loved ignored me, sent way too many mixed signals, I though she wasnt interested, and then its my fault for starting new relationship with someone else, cause apearently I cheated and broke her heart, and its true Im the bad guy cause I felt like I went through hell. And its stupid, when ever I tried to show her Im interested she acted clueless, as if she forgot she showed interest beforr. I send a text and get ignored for 7 months...

@@markoperic5023 well that was because of the people, yes situations are different and yes people are different, I'm not describing everyone I've been through many relationship a quite a few were online. One I dated for five years then we parted ways cause he was Poly and I was not, one cheated on me and used me for my body aka getting pics from me and many other cheating scenarios. I've been groomed countless times too I've lost track. These things are hard but just because not everything works out doesn't mean you should convince everyone that they shouldn't do it just because you had a bad experience. It's about perspective and how things are doing. My current relationship has our one year anniversary coming up in two days and it's been online the entire time, I'm is WA hes in TX, we both have shitty families we need to work around to get to each other and we both have mental issues and help each other with them. Sometimes its just not the right person or time.
