Before this she was basically just a clueless anime character essentially unaware of the crush Amity harbored. It leads to awkwardness and so much cuteness between them. Thankfully the will they/won’t they didn’t last long and we all knew it was just a matter of time.

The magic system is really interesting with the base elemental spells as letters and the more complex ones as words. The only thing I'd change from it is that we do not have many base glyphs to do an alphabet, I'd probably add a wind glyph and an earth glyph to have more to work with Gus' voice acttor went through puberty between seasons, that's why he changed

if the show wasn't cancelled, we probably would've had more glyphs to work with! And I'm fine without those, that just may sound a bit too similar to Avatar. The earth glyph would just be the plant glyph I believe. After all, the light glyph stands out cuz it's so associated to Luz and it's part of the essence of The Owl House! Yep, I figured, that's completely normal haha

I'd say that Shadow Weaver is worst because Odalia is too obviously bad. You know that Odalia will be abusive in every way. Shadow Weaver will mix in the caring gesture so that she can gaslight you into thinking that she's not all bad, but every kindness is just to further her manipulation.

I'm really glad u were able to see Alador for who he truly is. I'd say that while Odalia is more cruel and manipulative, she's very shortsighted, while Alador always tries to look at a bigger picture, which can be both very dangerous and very good, depending on how things will go next. Either way right now he's just as much of an abuser as his wife is.

Alador was definitely a puzzle to me at first, but it became so much clearer after his last interactions with Odalia! Great writing in terms of distinguishing the types of terrible parents they are. Can't wait to post more of my thoughts and reactions asap!

What a good episode that was, very enjoyable on both ends of the storyline, and Superhero Amity is great :D I feel like your editing was even more dynamic than usual, just jam-packed with references and split-second jokes (I often have to go back a few seconds to catch those lmao, i'm an old lady at this point, too slow to keep up), I really really enjoyed it and all the work you put into it! Plus since when I looked away for an instant just as you said the word "cupcake", and obviously when I looked back Vi and Cait were on screen, I gotta give it a 12/10, no notes 🧁 Overall, amazing video as usual, you killed it, and I'm excited to see how you felt about the rest of the season! 🤘

I just found your channel and I binge watched all of your Owl House videos (plus Hazbin Hotel), and I adore your reactions- you my good sir got yourself another subscriber! Dude I LOVE this show so much I remember when I first checked it out when season one was on Netflix, I was so confused at first but it really paid off because of how PHENOMENAL this series is- it is a masterpiece. I really can't wait to see your reactions to the rest of this season and season three, let me just say get your tissues ready! 😅 Also this just like you had me ALL giddy when I first saw it like YES Amity (And watching your videos the fact that you instantly fell in love with Amity is so funny and cute because a lot of people didn't, I was not too sure on how I felt about her- I knew she was a complicated character but again wasn't sure and she is definitely one of my favorites and not only in here but overall I loved her character growth, AND she's voiced by Mae Whitman who I fell in love with during Good Girls.) And the fact that she yelled "Stay away from MY Luz!" Like come on that had me get out of my seat it was too cute and the fact that we finally got Luz blushing as well just beautiful! And never thought that we'd get a Lulu and Hooty friendship but I'm HERE for it they are just too cute (by the way one of my professors in College she legit kind of looks and acts like Lilith and I'm here for it, not to mention she's a freaking sweetheart), and also I just adore Eda (and of course King) the way she said "I'm your Mother, you will obey me and die" I don't know why that had me- I was dying of laughter The Owl House really does have a lot of good quotes and voice acting (still hatred Disney). Anyways I can't wait for you to check out more of The Owl House and other shows/movies as well, I can't wait for more Content from you and I hope that you are doing well and staying safe and healthy!

Look closely when the Abomiton lifts its arm after smashing Luz and Amity; the hammerhead is hollow. I have two theories. One is that the Abomiton is programmed to be unable to really hurt Amity, maybe just for the demonstration, maybe forever, dunno... which is also why Amity gets between it and Luz when it starts to swing. The second theory is that Amity herself made it hollow. She obviously has a lot of control over it.

@@darquidarqui I loved it !!! (Dragon Prince season 6 trailer came out as soon as i finished it so it's an episode of good luck) It's really a big one on the list and so good ! I love how they show the crush but also that Amity has this necklace since she was little (you can see it in Understanding Willow). It's such a big thing bc it explains very well how manipulative her mother is, she can just contact her anytime everywhere, imagine the pressure ??? You can see how she was so cold and walls up (even if it doesn't excuse bullying of course) because the one time she lets slip she has friends, BAM her mom comes and destroy it... Also by the way Ed and Em acted, I'm sure they also had some kind of punishment but i don't know, I feel like Amity got the hardest in expectations : in Lost In Language, a part of her journal says something like "Why mom doesn't believe me about Ed and Em"... aaaand i'm going to stop, sorry for the rambles but I love this show soso much hehe

Ok I looked, and no one mentioned this yet, and I feel like you would like to know this. Unless you already do, and just haven’t mentioned it. Oh well, I read somewhere, and please correct me if I’m wrong, that Odalia made Amity dye her hair, just so she would match her siblings. So yeah on the surface it’s kinda petty, but after watching you and learning to dive deeper into hidden meanings, I just realized you can take it as Odalia suppressing Amity’s individuality and forcing her to conform. I now hate Odalia even more now.

Okay, ready for a probably unpopular opinion? Is it just me or do Willow's parents....kinda suck? Like, they put her on a track she hated and wasn't good at, they didn't make any successful attempt at stopping her from being bullied at school, and they were ready to ground her for three years before even hearing her side of the story. Like obviously they're not straight up evil like Odalia, or uncaring like Alador, but they really aren't great.

i really didn't think about it that way, but I think the same criticism could be applied to Gus' father? Either way, they're not as explored as they can be unlike Eda as the growing mother figure of Luz so I can't really judge, but I certainly do wish to see more of Willow's and Gus' upbringing so I can have a clearer take on it!
