Razzle and Dazzle They're just toys that Lucifer gave life to, sothey have no souls and don't get an afterlife. Lucifer and Charlie where in Lucifer's Lulu World. In Pride ring In Helluva boss season 1 episode 2 Actavia was talking about it. Mammon has his own rip off Loo loo land. Charlie's Canon age is 200 years. #Theory Charlie wasn't first children of Lilith and Lucifer but they all born death. @ LadySygerrik Some stories of Lilith have her cursed with the inability to have children, with all of hers being either born dead or dying shortly after being born. I really like how, when Lucifer initially starts with his “what did I tell you” speech, we get little moments that show how he’s wrong, that not all sinners are completely irredeemable. The main one that comes to mind was one that didn’t make it into the final reaction, with Sir Pentious pulling Niffty out of the way of falling debris. Already a far cry from his wannabe supervillain days.

Fun note about the setup of Hell in the Hazbin/Helluvaverse, and how that relates to Lucifer's design/personality: Hell is divided into seven rings, each named for one of the Deadly Sins and ruled by specific beings that have the title of "Sin of _____". Some theories suggest that the Sins were high-ranking angels or archangels who sided with Lucifer during his rebellion, and the original Ars Goetia(you'll meet them if you watch Helluva Boss, set in the same universe)were the other lesser Angels who sided with Lucifer. Lucifer, as the Ruler of Hell, primarily resides within the Pride Ring which sits on top. Lucifer also doubles as the Sin of Pride. Sinners are also largely restricted to the Pride Ring. The Second Ring is Wrath, ruled by Satan, the Sin of Wrath. We haven't seen Satan on-screen yet but he has been described as being incredibly physically strong and muscular. I've seen a lot of art depicting him as being somewhat draconic with a bit of a 'strongman cowboy' aesthetic, which fits into the Wrath Ring's very western sort of design/environment. The Third Ring is Gluttony, ruled by Beelzebub, the Sin of Gluttony. Beelzebub is a sort of sexy Fennec Fox/Bee-looking demon with a lavalamp sort of design around her belly, as well as trailing out of her tail and back of her head. Beelzebub primarily deals with the Hellhound population in Hell, who are mostly used for various menial labor around Hell. We haven't seen too much of Gluttony, but Beelzebub is constantly throwing parties and supplying her predominantly Hellhound guests with endless booze, food and when she can get her hands on them, drugs. It's theorized by some that Beelzebub does this to result in Hellhounds having constant alcohol and drug-fueled sex, continuously supplying Hell with a population of Hellhounds. The Fourth Ring is Greed, ruled by Mammon, the Sin of Greed. It's a lot of industrial and rampant criminal activity, as well as where a lot of larger entertainment things like circuses and concerts are. Mammon is a green/black almost run-down looking fat spider-clown looking figure who's just trying to go full Scrooge McDuck on how much money he wants to make. The Fifth Ring is Lust, ruled by Asmodeus, the Sin of Lust. Asmodeus is a humanoid 'rooster' looking figure with blue and red flames, likely meant to symbolize passion, and Asmodeus' clothes seem like a stage magician aesthetic and has also been shown with one of those two-sided fire sticks that circus performers juggle. The Lust Ring is a city with lots of neon signs, sex stores, nightclubs and other such places of business. The Sixth Ring is Envy, ruled by Leviathan, the Sin of Envy. We have not seen Leviathan OR the Envy ring on-screen yet, but given that Leviathan's name is.... well, Leviathan, I have to imagine the Envy ring is predominantly oceanic with underwater cities. The Seventh Ring is Sloth, ruled by Belphegor, the Sin of Sloth. The one time we've been to Sloth, it was very... cotton candy pink and seems to be where high-end hospitals and pharmaceuticals are, and though we haven't seen Belphegor, we HAVE seen the Baphomets, the goat-demons native to Sloth, and they seem very freakshow-y and deformed. Do you see the theme? Strongman, animal trainer, clown, magician/fire juggler, and freakshow. Add in Lucifer and it's a Circus Troupe, with Lucifer as the Ringleader. That's why he's so presentational, theatrical and over-the-top. He's literally the ringleader of his own circus.

The rainbow-colored image in Lucifer's room I believe is supposed to represent the seven rings of Hell, each embodying one of the Seven Deadly Sins. In Helluva Boss (Viv's companion series on KZbin rather than Amazon), we see most of the other rings of Hell, as we follow a team of Hellborn Imps. But since Hazbin Hotel primarily involves Sinners, we are only on the uppermost ring of Hell, the Pride ring, the only ring in which Sinners from the Living World can occupy. I believe this includes Lucifer as well. In most depictions Viv makes of the seven rings of Hell, they're typically each displayed with a different color of the rainbow, and thus making the full rainbow when shown together. This therefore explains the image :3 Also, the reason Lucifer cannot join Charlie in Heaven isn't a matter of fear, he is outright banned from Heaven entirely. So he literally CAN'T go there.

I absolutely ADORE how immediately you picked up on Lucifer and his internal battles.. so many people are too quick to judge him as an "absent father", but he is hurting so badly.. and he is so scared to lose Charlie or watch her get hurt. Thank you so much for being able to see past Lucifer's facade so quickly ❤ Lucifer is my #1 favorite character in both Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss. I love everything about his character, down to the voice actor they chose for him. (Jeremy Jordan) This portrayal of Lucifer is heartbreaking and im always so happy to see others who pick up on that so quickly.

I have been wanting to see your reaction to this episode the most, and you certainly didn’t disappoint. This is by far my favorite episode of the show with my favorite and second favorite songs, and you all get one chance to guess which is which. Don’t get me wrong the rest of the show is good as are the songs, but honestly nothing can beat this episode in my opinion. I think it’s mostly just how different Lucifer is from how we all imagined. Also I relate to him on a personal level. I have ADHD and high anxiety, so I am a space case that literally can forget things I was just told 5 seconds ago. I also act extra silly and hyper to hide my anxiety and insecurities, and that take that depression is indeed funny, but to me it’s not just the delivery, it’s true. I know people who struggle with depression, and sometimes success can be as simple as ‘I’m getting out of bed today, so take that depression’. I feel many people don’t realize how much the little steps help when fighting depression. So yeah Lucifer is my favorite next to Charlie, and something you might have missed that I don’t think anyone else mentioned is that Lucifer still has his wedding ring on. So have fun theorizing that.

I can’t nail down a definitive top 10 because I actually like all the songs from season 1. There isn’t a single song from this season I dislike. That’s how much the music in this show *ABSOLUTELY SLAPS!* At least for me, anyways.

I feel very sad when I see the scene of Luci losing his smile after his song with Charlie.

I love Lucifer's character as well. It's easy to forget from the pilot how it talked about Hell itself being Lucifer's punishment, where he would only see the results of the POOR choices his gift of Free Will produced, and never any of the results of the GOOD choices. It's unsurprising that he feels all the denizens of hell are not worth bothering with, and also why he's so hands-off and isolationist when it comes to "ruling" Hell.

2:39 That picture is actually Lucifer with a hellborn demon who is the father of the Von Eldritch family (I don't know his first name), the two families were friends and Charlie even dated the son Seviathan which you can kinda see in the top left picture. Not a whole lot is known about them beyond a vague connection to HP Lovecraft (Cthulhu and whatnot), they also appeared in the pilot in a group photo of both families and the same picture of Charlie with Seviathan, the daughter also appeared in the pilot during the news station song where Charlie took joy in scaring her and if I remember correctly they never got along.

There were so many hilarious moments in this episode. I think the funniest was definitely Lucifer panicking when Charlie called him and the way he answered the phone after. Like, DUDE WTAF!?! 😂 That’s how someone would answer the phone if it was a friend calling. Just his sassy voice and the way he says “Heeeeey bitch.” 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
