This one got me real good cuz I grew up with my dad and to see grown men cry over their dads and sons… I’ve got kids of my own also… it just choked me all up.

Ann is great, the way she let her sister know exactly how loved she is, offered up the diary, even the letter was thoughtful “I wish mum could be the one writing this…” “she’s always been my big sister””I’m just so excited”… what more could she ask for even though her mother passed and she won’t meet mum. A sister that great is next level

You do know there is a way to cut the onion roots off without making us cry right… but you all just insist!

We should all be so lucky as to have someone like Maureen in our lives! But everyone in this episode is just so lovely!!

What an amazing episode

Wow this episode is by far one of my top favorites. It warms my heart the Jamaican spirit, that’s what it does to you. Kathleen went from always being shunned for her Jamaican side to embracing it and learning to love and be proud of that side through the love of her family. What a blessed and wonderful spirit their whole family has.

The subtitling is horrible! So sad because the video is beautiful.

Loved this one!!! Everyone needs to take DNA you never know who’s out there. In June 2023 I decided to take a DNA test to learn more about my family history. Little did I know the first person on my match list was my sister.🥹 It said she was my first cousin. We share the same father, he died in 1987. We met and we adore each other. We look so much alike.🥰 All of our parents are deceased now so we needed each other and found each other at the perfect time.❤️❤️

Pearse and his dad both only had one photo of each other, he wanted to say “hey dad”, and all his dad wanted to hear him say was “dad”… they wanted the same from each other and I hope the best for these guys

Real life stories are soooo the best

if I look for someone for years...if I know they live abroad...then why the hell don't I learn the language???? At least basic knowledge, it's no problem to take a language course in Europe. even if it's only online.
