Thanks for the video. I got my Tiger Sport new in 2014. Cannot think of a reason to change. Have done tours, commuting, track days, and Sunday runs to the pub. Does it all!

I imagine it handles really well on a track. I will have to give that a go. Croft is close to me and they do track days there.

It's a brilliant bike. I have had mine from 2015. It's a 2014 model. I have travelled in Scandinavia and Europe on mine and love it. Thanks for all your videos

@upnorthbiker living in Bristol we decided to take the tunnel and ride all the way up through Germany and Denmark. A big mistake in retrospect. I would use ferries to take you up as far as you can. We rode 4250 miles in 3 weeks. The scenery in Southern Norway is fantastic. We had hoped to cross the Arctic Circle but bad weather (in July) forced us to cross into Sweden which was warm and DRY. Beware of Gravel roads in Sweden and a lack of fuel stations. Have fun 👍 😁

I have a 2013 model and have done 60,000km. The engine and overall reliability are the main reasons I still have it. The only issue I had in 10 years is the throttle cable that disconnected itself which happened last month. I have no hand guards, no heated grips, no cruise control and no gear indicator and I miss all of those comfort items. As I’m 6’4”, I added a MRA clip-on screen on top of my stock screen which made a big difference. I have no buffeting but lots of wind noise. I also changed the gear lever to an adjustable one from SW Motech which is way more comfortable and for some reason delivers smoother gear changes. I can easily ride 400km per day but more than 450km becomes uncomfortable for me. Separately, thank you for all your videos on servicing the bike. Very helpful indeed.

I have looked at the SW Motech lever it is much nicer than the Palmer Products one. Glad the servicing videos helped.

I have a 20 TS and felt quite the same for the first few rides. I tried a few things with the seat and then decided to go for a 'Cool Covers' seat cover and that was a game changer for me. I had what I call 'an epiphany ride' a couple of months after I got the bike where everything just clicked into place and I felt like I settled into the bike...it was an in and out day with a bit of sun and few light showers but it was one of those rides where I didn't want it to end.....that was the day I kinda fell in love with the bike. Great videos.... particularly love your servicing videos....really helpful. All the best pal 👍

Thanks Mike I will have a look at the Cool Covers as I plan to do a massive charity ride in the summer on the Tiger.

I wish I could get my missus to go on the back but she has no interest. On the plus side I can go where i want and ride how i want.

Blimey, first time I've heard the town of Burnopfield for many a year. Worked for a company that was based there many years ago. It was called Alkar Shelving and they manufactured shelving for retail stores like Asda. Remember a little village called Tantobie too, always reminded me of the Lone Ranger for some reason :-) The Tiger....great bike, superb engine. Never owned one, but would certainly look at one if I change from the Versys. Nive video and review, stay safe bud.

@@upnorthbiker Think they were bought out a long time ago now. I used to fit their shelving units in the stores all over the country.

Seat is definitely a sore point 😂 I had a gel pad cut in to my stock seat improved it slightly. Think I need to reshape it more to stop it tipping me forward. I’ve got the same screen blade on to of stock screen

I have seen adverts for gel pants a bit like cycling shorts so might give them a try. How do you find the screen. I am using a powerbronze short screen at the moment but it is not good at speed in traffic. It is ok when you are out in the open though
