So: Last year I finally bought a longboard. I decided I'd ride it during the holidays. Went on holiday, got the dang rona. 4 months later and hasn't stepped on the board since :) You came right in time Hans! I'm going to get outside on my messed up concrete ground and learn again!

@@jayrichardson5974 I initially planned on buying a dancer board, however there weren't any available where I live, and those that were, were really pricey. I ended up getting a Drop-through. It's actually quite good, not sure about the pros and cons yet as I haven't been using it (really busy). But yeah! It depends what you plan on doing; carving, cruising, downhill or even dance. Hans made a video explaining almost all types of longboards. Good luck!

It doesn't translate well at all. I ride both and I have to mentally switch from board to board because the tricks are done differently and the size and shape does make a drastic difference to how you approach the tricks that you do.

Hey, I have a LDP longboard and the only thing I really want to know is how to pick it up (without having to get down and do it,... yk). The trucks are near the edge of the board and it’s kind of heavy. I never found a video about that, and yours are always so helpful and easy to understand... Btw, great tricks and video!!
