Longines HydroConquest (Longines Submarine)

For allowing me to get another one of his watches

I like this watch…and bezels can easily be replaced.And despite the $1000 more price tag for ceramic bezel from the factory, a replacement is far cheaper. Longines is purposely affordable! And I appreciate their history and the decision to keep their watches within reach of “the common” everyday person. I would not hesitate to own one of these! ❤

It just felt a bit to big and bulky as I remembered because of the long lug to lug and the over sized crown and guards , its a solid watch and from a great brand , But just didn't do it for me unfortunately Kyle

How do you get the bezel replaced? I like the older handset and the newer bezel.

The crown guards and crown are the Longines logo if you turn the watch 90 degrees clockwise.

Love this now "older version". An mm is good size for me. A nice detail is the red dot on the seconds hand, the ceramic versions don´t, to my knowledge, have it.

Have the 41 red bezel, Arabic numerals 51 lug to lug. Have it about 5 years now and can’t fault it. Great GADA watch. Longines are under the radar a bit now but still make fine watches.

Its a good which but the over long lug to lug is a bit of a deal breaker for me Dermott

Ma786sai dua yes this aluminium bezel 41mm version of 2008 with 28,800bph is a handsome robust dive watch. I prefer it any day over the ceramic version with the tuned-down 25,500 bph. I just bought this older version a few hours ago. I have 10 Rolex watches and some other watches, and felt myself gravitate towards this piece today.

I do like some of the newer Longines model like the Zulu timer a lot but this one didn't really do it for my Cyrus

44mm I could pull that off, even with the lugs. This version looks more rugged than the new ceramic version.

Lovely review of this piece. The points you raised have made me think about buying this, over just going out and getting one. Crown guards are weird and I do agree with the round hour marker comment being a different “language” to the rest of the dial. Thanks again and sub’d👍🏾

like the different videos lol. One says its best diver watches under 2K, second its a crap, than someone writes lume is shit, than you google it and this model is between best lume watches... people you have nothing to do? Do you really think that someone will make shit watches just because he wants to make you angry. Its good model, it is what it is. Buy it or leave it. I had it long time and found no single problem. Than came some people and it began.... its cheap rolex, they are just copying bla bla bla bla bla bla bla. I mean there are no bad watches, just stupid people, trust me.

Why that was painful to watch lol I recorded it a little over 2.5 years ago but looks older compared to my latest videos, When you compare that model to were they are today its crazy , would I say its the best diver under 2k hell no but its still a quality watch Longines is a solid brand, When it comes to stupid people trust me I get my fair share having a youtube ;)

@@ClickSpringReviewI was more reacting on comments than yours video ;) People can post whatever they want… and of course its perfect that someone makes reviews, it can help to decide. Iam just fascinated how can people shitstorm everything just because of their anger. Remembers me the situation with apple. Untill iphone XR was their battery absolute useless compare to android phones, but no single user of iphone was able to acknowledge that. First after 10 years some of them can say finaly yes it was shit but now its good… :D people are just locked in their own ego and dont see the reality sometimes. The problem is that lot of people have big expectations from products, which cannot be fullfiled. Longines for 1000$ is for rich people same like casio for 10 bucks. On other side someone is saving money for watch like this 10 years and than is he expecting something from the space… every watch can break or have some failures like a car for 10M. Thats the reality. STOP HATE PEOPLE and buy just that for what you have enough money. Otherwise you will be always crying. Nothing is forever ;)
