My uncle used to live in the same town Lonnie grew up in. My uncles friend had a tobacco farm and they would go into town every year and get kids from the high school to come help with the harvest. Every year for 4 years they’d ask him if he wanted to come help out and his response was always “I’m sorry I can’t come help, I have to practice because I’m gonna be a Major League Baseball player one day”.

baseball is unforgiving, i'm from Italy born and raised with soccer so i never experienced the joy or the sadness of hitting a ball or missing one. your personal experience with him gives the idea of how hard it is to play and how high the level is when you finally put your cleats on those MLB fields

Your average strikeout now occurring as often as it is (looking or swinging), where all sides quickly acknowledging and moving on, is what I imagine you had in mind and I have them rated lowly for it.
