Looking through old things of mine currently, and came across this. On the fence about throwing it in the dumpster or keeping. This video made the decision for me. I figured it might be fun to use for the sake of having the ability take nostalgic photos in the present year.

what kinda of batteries did you use that worked?

My ex girlfriend gave me one. She was going to throw it away! I told her I'll take it figuring that I can sell it to a pawn shop. But seeing how inexpensive they are used I figured I wouldn't get much for it anyway. I took it to a park today and got some good shots of some birds, ducks, and cranes. Maybe I'll sell it on Craigslist or Marketplace because the video quality is low. Most cellphones can do at least 2k. I also got a great closeup of a full moon.

It is a decent camera with a CCD sensor that some people like (it is supposed to produce more natural looking colours). While its video capabilities are severely outdated, it should still take good pictures in decent lighting conditions.
