Do the headliner yourself! I did it myself on my 67 Camaro and it came out just fine. Just used many binder clips, pulled the headliner tight clipped in place and let it sit for a day. The next day I stretched the headliner again and reclipped it. On the third day stretched a final time and glued with 3m weatherstrip adhesive and it came out nice!

Tough to believe you could not get a torquer that was a direct bolt in... Future Rich will hopes it will last forever ! She is gorgeous now, and will be even more stunning with all the trim polished and the brightwork installed !

there are two different size bolt circle flex plates and dual pattern flex plates, could have saved some time using a different flex plate. always run into issues like that dealing with aftermarket stuff. it can be frustrating.

Not only do I love the paint job. It's also to see it finally painted! After just finishing a stainless steal exhaust for a 72 Nova... I feel like it wasn't worth it. Simply because no one would see it, the money could be put into something else like interior dash, gauges etc. But also one bad cut or one bad bend.. Could cost 100 dollars. Granted if the budget for this GTO is the best possible.. Then maybe worth it for the stainless. Just don't cheap out on the stuff you can see! :)

dang man how do you stay so relaxed all the time while wrenching?? lol I have a 97 k2500 with a 12v cummins and just swapped a nv4500 in it with a np271d transfer and my head didn't quit hurting until it was all done..... then had to pull it all back out again because i screwed up the rear main...

My local NAPA hates to see me come through their door. I double check everything they hand me. No matter what you buy whether it a cheap part or expensive part it always comes from China. I go to the big chain stores in a bind and always leave frustrated because of the counter help. I have started messing with them just to make it an even playing field since they dont accept my part numbers. We always have to play the computer game. Year, Make and Model? 1985 Toyota Pickup SR5...Engine and Transmission? 8.2 liter TH425...It goes down hill from there.

Gotta start by telling you how much I appreciate Deboss Garage! One of my top three best all time you tube channels! Love what you do and the content all the time BUT you're putting an automatic transmission in the GTO????!!!! AHHHH!!! I never thought Deboss would do such a thing BY CHOICE. Okay that's all just had to let you know that I know that YOU know better than this! LOL. I'm sure you've explained why you're doing this and it's for a very reasonable reason. But I don't remember why it was (I watch all of you stuff LOL). Just hope it wasn't "Because it was available or cheaper". Every and any time I see a gorgeous old car like this and I take a look at it to hope to start admiring it the first thing I look for is if it's got three pedals or not. If not See ya later not special. Sorry. Although I know that's not true from an outsider looking in there are only a few criteria they/we will be looking for. Love you guys!

The torque converter came from the states. By the time I send it back and grab another, (don't ship to Canada) having already paid duty on it, it would take a full two days.

Told the wife that Rich said she should give me a hug seeing as I'm her local mechanic oh and that she should get me a cup of coffee too. She asked me was wrong with poor Rich that he needs a hug. Well first off he's filthy rich Rich and not poor Rich and he's having a bunch of problems with his GTO. She likes GTO's as I had a 66 LeMans with a 4 speed and AC, she loved that car. So she says coffee no problem but next time make sure it's gotta 4 speed that's half the fun of it. Good video and great looking car.

Bah, GTOs. My 62 Vette would blow them right off the road. Too big and fat to be any real competition. (OK, it was close, but the 360 horse 327 with a 356 rear end and Hurst linkage would do the job if I didn't miss a gear. They were actually surprisingly quick for a big as they were.).

Come on, I watch the whole video. The paint looks great, you say green. The transmission looks like a 200 4R - but you never said it. Be clear for people who like what you do. I would say 2004R. What was it? How many horsepower? What would you guess it is? These are important details. Don't do a video and just show stuff without any details.
