Crappiest crate for a while in my opinion. The mug I got was horribly painted, not even slightly well made either, with it already chipping. The hydra pin was nice enough, but I don't expect it to be one of four items in the bloody box. The wooden joker? Come on. You've had much nicer figurines before. And don't even get me started on the apron. Seriously? Yes quality is important lootcrate but I expect to have more than four bloody things in a box. If you threw in a T-shirt or something I would have been happy with it.

The mug may be ugly but it is in no way cheap. I've seen those mugs for sale online before and they cost around £20, yes they cost that much. So I have to give a bit of respect for loot crate for actually putting something in the box that's worth a lot of money. This is box is most likely the best value for money I've seen. Oh and as for dropping the mug from 2 inches. Any mug would probably break from that height.

I unsubscribed after the Cyber crate arrived - after the original got "lost" and two replacements were sent out (first replacement got "lost" as well). I had already forgotten about them by the time I got a note to go to the post office and collect 3 boxes. Two were the same, one was different size, so I though hey, compensation for all the two months and half of trouble I had to deal with ( their customer service is not a particularly great experience, not to mention for international delivery we pay extra). When I got home, I noticed two of the address tags saying France not Finland, but the third (a smaller one) was correct. After opening, two were indeed the Cyber crates (the original and the first replacement), but the small crate was actually from the Covert theme a while back. Ironically, the Covert crate was the one that got me with subscription, and was the last I'll ever get from them.

+Infellous Kazkari You're right about early Captain America being pretty OTT as far as patriotism, but Marvel did learn a lot from that. Not only do the two new movies do things a lot better -- they focus on him believing in an idealized version of America but realizing that it doesn't fit what's currently here -- but even the comics learn their lesson over time. Heck, Marvel's character The Nomad was born from Captain America losing his faith in the US to the point he refused to use its name or flag to represent him. Admittedly The Nomad had his own problems (mostly caused by his cape,) but it's still worth noting that even Marvel can learn when they've taken a character's loyalty to something too far.

I hear a lot of comments saying things along the lines of "I wish ashens would stop doing these videos, Loot Crates are shit!" and whilst I'm not a massive fan of the Loot Crate videos either, I don't think being shit is the problem. By that logic, Stu shouldn't review Popstations, bootleg action figures or anything from Poundland. Indeed, I'd say that the problem with the Loot Crate videos is that the contents aren't shit _enough._ I generally find Ashen's videos to be very rewatchable, but the only Loot Crate videos that I find myself rewatching are the ones covering truly appalling contents, such as the shoelaces, ice tray and the fucking inflatable fucking crown. Speaking more subjectively, I have no interest in American superhero comics, MMORPGs, popular 80's franchises and anything else that makes up today's "Geek Culture" (shudder), so when the contents of the loot crate are legitimately good, it's more of a disappointment to me that there's nothing about said contents to really poke fun at or moan about. It's just "Oh look, a poster/figure/bottle opener of some character from some franchise I have no opinion on". Said products might be quite interesting to a fan of superhero comics or whatever, but my opinion on them just about extends to "well, that's a thing". Again, this is a very subjective view on Loot Crate videos and I may just be spewing complete shite.
