Cool Feldon deck. It was strange that Deven kept paying for rhystic study during that sequence when he was just going to wheel of fortune anyway. Great game tho!

Tbh I didn't think about the interaction between sylvan library and the anvil. He would have to pay 4 life for the anvil card because he draws it before the library trigger. But the anvil mostly got ignored this game anyway. Lol.

This is incorrect. Sylvan Library only cares that you pick two cards you've drawn this turn, and either pay 4 life for each of them, or put them back on top. If you draw 6 cards during your draw step with Library out, you don't lose any life when you put 2 cards back. Library does not care how many total cards you've drawn and kept.

Yeah I forgot library specifies only 2 cards need to put back not "pay 4 for each beyond the first". The weird interaction is still that the anvil cards need to be kept separate with the sylvan library cards.

Yeah the old printings of the card messed me up, cause it states "for each card drawn this turn past the first pay 4 life or put it back on top of library"

I have played magic for almost seven years, but I still dont understand why people run fetches in a mono colored deck in commander, is it just a cEDH thing meant to thin the deck of lands?

Hey Graham, thanks for checking out the video. To answer your question its mostly to thin out decks but there are Utility lands like Mistveil Plains, for example, that can be searched for in Mono White. In Devon's case, it helps feed his Underworld Breach as exile fodder

He literally stumbled onto the combo that night. He hadn't purposely put it in the deck as a win con. So rather than take up any more of our time wheeling and wheeling in order to find a winning line, he was a good guy about it and let us continue playing. He probably regretted that decision after the game lol

A LOT of people own Atraxa Decks and enjoy watching gameplay of it in action. Actually it is still the most popular commander on EDH Rec. So I get it. It's not your thing. I hate losing to the deck myself, but we got tons of other videos that don't feature Atraxa. Maybe watch some of those instead. Thanks for checking out the channel Aric.
