Whoa, I just realized something. In the First talk Rex and Ahsoka have 1 on 1 he says "In my book experience outranks everything." and Ahsoka is the one without the experience. Then before they go to the Sith temple he repeats that same line, except now Ahsoka has more experience. This means that she is more prepared to go face Vader, but it also means that what we saw at the end of the episode could have been her force ghost. Think about it, the only person from her past that trusted her the whole time was the last person from her past she talked to.

I think one of the only things I like about Rebels is it showed Ahsoka's bond to Red like the Clone Wars never did. We all know Anakin was like her brother, bufFed was probably like one of her closest friends.

You really just have to look at rex's character development. He started out as just a loyal soldier, then he saw so many of his brothers die, sacrificing themselves for others. He finally made a choice in taking out his inhibitor chip, and saving Ahsoka from order 66. The he finally fought in a cause he choose to belive in. You have yo admire a soldier like that

+Greater Normandy I think if Vader does indeed meet Rex, he will think literally nothing of him, Rex will be nothing but an ordinary, insignificant clone to Vader. Then again, I think Darth Vader would let Rex live if our beloved clone commander chose to serve the Empire - unlike Ahsoka that represents everything Vader had. She is a living reminder of Anakin Skywalker who 'he destroyed'. No matter what, persona of Darth Vader wants to kill Ahsoka. I believe the line Vader utters in the finale, the one with The Emperor showing her mercy, is a lie. My point being - yes, Rex and Anakin were surly close friends but their bond was nowhere near as strong as that of Anakin and Ahsoka.

Josh Walker Something happened during the Siege of Mandalore that we do not know off. My guss is that when Order 66 was issued, Ahsoka was with Rex on Mandalore along with Gregor and Wolffe. They all removed their inhibitor chips and Rex saved Ahsoka.

Likewise.. Gregor´s story was more TOUCHING, and MEANINGFUL. Having been stranded in a wasteland planet, stripped from his memories, and decieved by a greedy cafeteria owner was top notch. Fighting along the droids and Colonel Gascon to redeem himself was superb. Not many clones can brag in wiping out an entire batallion of droids single handed.

this made me cry... anakin's downfall is so goddamn depressing. esp after watch tcw. completely changed my view of the prequels and made them better than the originals for me. Rex might be considered a minor character, but he really has so much depth and is a very important character. the music was on point btw. and including the part where anakin and the 501st marched on the temple was chilling.
