I wish people would realize that surrendering animals safely is a no judgement zone. Doing right by the animals should always be the first priority. Hope that you received the lamp I sent you from your Amazon Wish List. I took some money from my cancer medical care fund to spread love to you, your staff and the piggies. Please give all of those piggies scratches and kisses from me!

Storm Tater! Yes!!!! The lamp came - you will see it in action on this Saturdays live! We have three tables we work from now, the one in my little area outdoors for Saturdays being the latest one and we desperately needed another one! Thank you so very much. You are very kind to be thinking of the piggies and sending them a gift! 🙏❤

My heart breaks for them and the owner. It's clear they were loved and well adapted to humans. Something horrible had to have happened to make them drop them off and run without talking to you. Imagining myself in their place, begging you to take them in while you'd say "we're full, we're full" I'd be a tearful mess. Sending love out to you Siska, you're really an angel.

I was in a similar situation where we had a surprise pregnancy after adopting a guinea pig, but we couldn't keep all of the babies. The shelter wouldn't take even a single one of them and we were at a complete loss. We didn't want to give them away, but we just didn't have enough space for them once they were all grown up. Luckily we ended up finding a place to give them to a few weeks later (of course only after it was save to separate the babies from the mom). We would've never dropped them off like this, but I can somewhat relate to the desperation they probably felt.

so sad to think of how many people are having to give up their pets right now, or the pets owners have died and no one can take them on. they just need to be more careful and not leave pets outside in the heat! thank you for Saskia and team for taking such good care of all the piggies.

I’m happy they were brought to a safe place and not killed or turned out to fend for themselves- yes , post them, maybe others will be encouraged to bring in the needy babies, knowing they can see the follow up and remain anonymous. Also post the owners who bring in their babies as a way to normalize when it’s better to rehome them for their sake and we’ll bring - those boys are healthy !!!

These times are so hard right now. You don't know the situation of why the person left them. No they shouldn't of put them in the hot sun without water but they knew that Saskia will take care of them. Maybe they had no choice and there's a waiting list for surrenders and they couldn't wait so they placed them there. You just don't know. We can't judge people. Show kindness. The piggies are now safe and will have a loving home soon. Thank you Saskia for all you do. ❤❤

Times are bad right now. I feel bad for whoever gave these guys up. The main thing that matters is all piggies involved are safe and happy. Sometimes things change that make that impossible. My mom had to give away my first pig because she got pregnant and I was not old enough to really take care of him. We also had the problem that my birth dad who we were living with at the time started getting more violent and started physically abusing my mom.

5:32 That guinea pig is actually ringing! Nine days later & they are all chilled out! Thanks for doing everything you do for these guys. I know I’ve probably been guilty of being somewhat judgmental in some of these cases of abandonment, but you’re right...we don’t always know the exact circumstances that lead to such anonymous drop offs. Certainly videos like this definitely help spread the message that there is absolutely a safer way of doing so that doesn’t put the piggies at such an unnecessary increased risk of avoidable harm. Cheers from the UK!

All 3 are beautiful piggies but I have a big soft spot for skinny pigs, owning 2 skinny boys myself, they have such amazing personalities, the eldest is so sweet, gentle and quiet while the youngest one being 4 months old is very vocal, runs laps around the cage(they share a 5x2 c&c cage)tries to chew the coroplex and is a cheeky little monkey full of beans, I love them both so much, they are my world and I'd be lost without them. I'm so happy the skinny found a forever home with another skinny, happy ending. 💙🦛💙
