I seen one deleted scene where after the joker blew up Gotham General he got onto the bus, sat down, and didn't bother looking back. I know there was a gruesome scene where Lao's body is burned to death while onto of the pyramid of money.

⁠@@SuperMoviemaster21they aren’t “So different” just minor differences in the takes, there’s a video from a few years ago showing most of “deleted scenes/ different takes” of scenes already in the movie. Besides the actual 6 or so deleted scenes that we know of there isn’t significant changes in the theatrical to trailer versions

There was a scene missing where jokers burning the money and on top he had the guy that batman tracked down in china and brought im to be tried by Harvey and theres just one still image of the guy being on top as the money was burning because they never really showed what happen to his character in the dark knight

The IMAX prologue for The Dark Knight Rises there was a very short clip right at the end teasing the rest of the movie that showed Selina Kyle in a Prison uniform possibly being transported somewhere. It was definitely her out of her catsuit or black dress and dressed in orange. That prologue itself featured was different from the final cut. There was more dialogue from Bane and I can’t remember if was a improved sound mix or Tom Hardy did rerecord his lines but he does sound slightly different over complaints he sounded too muffled or something like that. I remembered the first one mainly cause there had not been footage or pictures (as far as I know) released of Anne Hathaway out of her catsuit from the movie when that was released. And that i told fans I knew that the first six minutes wasn’t the only new stuff it featured.

Update: Just seen two versions of the prologue on KZbin. The both teasers at the end feature mostly different clips. There’s a cam copy that’s mostly clips seen in the movie along with the Catwoman prison uniform one I mentioned. But there is one that maybe an official released version or fan reconstruction (more on that below) that features possibly unused B rolls footage from the stock exchange scenes (didn’t look familiar but still could be wrong) and a different scene with Catwoman out of costume that I didn’t recognise (plus the IMAX version didn’t have title cards or credits.) As for the official release or fan made reconstruction comment. Bane’s dialogue was definitely redone, his voice and accent wasn’t the same and much of the dialogue that’s in the movie I think he paraphrased in the end. And that audio is only in the cam copy version.

Ok I have to correct my prison uniform comments. It had been some time since I had seen the movie and I thought it had been cut. She is indeed seen in a prison uniform as described and in a few more scenes as Bane took over Gotham City. Sorry guys.

I hate things where that they haven't released the deleted scenes for For example some Doctor Who stuff, the Ninth Doctor's eras, Eleventh Doctor's eras, Twice Upon A Time, Thirteenth Doctor's era, maybe even the TV Movie With only one of Twice Upon A Time being released with two shown in the trailer and included in the novelisation (There was also rumours at one point there may be an extended cut) Two deleted scenes from the TV Movie were uploaded to youtube, there was a workprint as well with some alternative scenes or cuts Eleventh doctor's era had 4 or 6 deleted scenes, 2 or 3 possibly turned into minisodes, and 3 released online, there was however some magazines that had some descriptions of some deleted scenes from other episodes The ninth doctor had an alternative voice line in the american release of the dalek when the dalek appears in the office, there was a 2 second shot in the confidential of Rose and Nine huggjng after the dalek confrontation, and that's about it though also RTD released a description of something scrapped from the script of Rose Thirteen had a deleted monster in the episode that had a talking frog and there was possibly one description of a deleted line or two as well as a leaked photo or clip of an unused alternate take for Halloween Apocalypse

The novelization of Batman Begins has a lot of interesting scenes that were most likely taken out of the script early on (if they were in there at all). Mainly those having to do with Ra's Al Ghul. In the novel, after Bruce gets back to Gotham he spends a few chapters researching and learning all about the backstory of Ra's. Rather than just being a normal man like in the final verzions of the films, Bruce learns about The Lazarus Pit and the story of how it has been used over the centuries, only for these sources of information getting silenced, killed, or destroyed as soon as there is even a whisper about them. They, along with the journals of Ra's are my personal favorite parts of the novel, they are obviously non canon to the films, but still a good read I think for those who want more backstory and lore on the various characters like Harvey Dent, Scarecrow, Ra's, and hell even the Chechen guy gets his own backstory.

It threw me off when they started promoting the Dark Knight Rises, because they used promos with fake footage showing Bane being created in a hospital lab experiment & Catwoman swinging around with her whip, neither of which even really make sense in the movie that we got.

@@ICCP2005 I don't remember where I saw them originally & I can't find them so far, either. Messed up, if that's lost media, now. But, yeah, there was a teaser of just bane in a hospital bed & doctors give him some injection. He starts convulsing & the medical staff strat freaking out, then his veins change & he breaks his restraints & starts throwing doctors at the walls. The other just shows a dark alley & you see Catwoman swing into view from the distance with her whip & land just far enough back in shadow where you can just barely make out who it's supposed to be.

I was an extra on the set of the hospital explosion, that was supposed to be a much longer scene, as the Joker threatened with hiding a bomb in one of the many hospitals in Gotham. The scenes of the PD searching and trying to evacuate all of the hospitals was replaced with an added line of dialog in which Gorden guesses which hospital is the right one, despite them never showing that they found the bombs. The bus he takes from the hospital was one of the buses used to evacuate it, that the Joker and his crew hijack. It's full of evacuees that he kidnaps and uses as hostages in the tower scene. From speaking with the crew and other actors I learned that there were a number of scenes that we never saw. An attempt on the Mayors life in a subway scene, and a few others. Let's just say that Anthony Michael Hall's character was supposed to be a bigger part of the story than we got. I assume the same is true with his other movies and that we are missing out on a lot of great film.

The chances of those scenes or a director's cut getting released are likely zero. Nolan doesn't seem interested in extended cuts of movies and with his success, I do think he has some say on that stuff and he has been quite vocal about his displeasure with WB (Oppenheimer being released by Universal). So between his lack of interest in extended cuts/deleted scenes and him not being on the best of terms with WB, that's not happening

I love revisiting TDK mainly because it provides us in today’s world of films a valuable lesson in how we should never judge a casting decision before seeing any footage made a staple due to the undeserved backlash from heath’s casting and yes I’ll admit my initial reaction was in agreement with the mob of fanboys. But that’s the point heath was judged by the films he had been in and was a great actor in some not so amazing movies for the people who judged them but the second I saw him in that first trailer I watched it excessively

The only deleted scenes of any movie I care to see is from Event Horizon. Unfortunately we will never get to see them . Every movie that adds deleted scenes back into movies just proves that there was a reason for them not to be there in the first place .

On the contrary, I find for a lot of recent movies and particularly having a lot of scenes added in and or even some others taken out would’ve actually made the movie a lot better regardless of whether they would’ve replaced scenes already in the movie or not. For example, guardians of the Galaxy Vol 1, They really should’ve kept the deleted scene Of Gamora on the ship after she talks to nebula And Thanos as it would’ve Had her story be easier to follow and more engaging and connecting to who she is even though it does take away some value of surprise of not knowing which side she is on, again it’s just more importantly has me Care and understand a whole lot more about her as This is partly the reason why she’s my least favourite member of the guardians. James Gunn has even said that he thinks that the scene should’ve been kept back in too
