Watched this cuz i don't have a Tama Pix yet and while the party mechanic adding more games and stuff looks fun, i wish they kept the two Tamas they switched out from the older version. Those two were so cute! They should have added characters, not take away. But anyway, idk which to choose. Do you think there will be events for both or just the new one?

I got the same performance as far as battery and touch response between my wave 1 purple and my party confetti. The only difference I noticed is the wave 1 starts up and loads some things a little faster.

I'm wondering if i should get the Pix Party or the Smart... both seem to be nice, but the Pix Party have 18 games in total right? it seems to be more complete in general (activities etc), but I love the smart minimal design (and the ability to use as a watch, plus USB charging).

Thanks for the great review! Did you notice camera quality differences between thew wave 2 and the party pix? I know party definitely has improved quality from wave 1 but no one has really mentioned if the wave 2 camera was upgraded as well as the battery and buttons

Seems to be the same as the wave 2 except for the lag with the middle button I mention.

I'm holding a wave 1 in purple and a confetti party, both in camera mode, and I'm seeing better colors and sharper lines on wave 1.... do I have a crap party or an exceptional wave 1?

I really want a tamagotchi pix but i don't know whether i should get the purple pix or the party pix cause i prefer the fact that its colored purple wayy more but dont see any other reasons to buy the pix other than color.. Are the games replaced on pix party or is pix party just with more features?

Thanks for the vid! I already brought a green pix at launch but thought maybe a party would be nice (heard good reviews), but after your review I think the original pix (wave 2) will still be better so I'll save the money :)

The party thing seems like a slower, slightly tedious alternative to just having the mini games to increase happiness.

Hi! After having bought the Pix Party more than 9 months ago, I now bought the original, green one. I don't know if I notice less lag, but what I did find is that, just like with the Party, you have to touch under the relief of the buttons. For example, if I touch the center of button B, it interprets that I touched button A. The same thing happens to me with the Party. Does it happen to you too?

I was debating if I wanted or of the Pix Party was worth it if I had the wave two Pix, as much as it looks interesting it's not much of a difference so I don't personally think it's worth it. Might actually get a Smart or wait for a brand new english color one.

I’m pretty sure both can hang out but the pix can’t attend your party. I’m planning to buy a pix and pix party and I if you don’t want to carry two chunky eggs of plastic around you can have the Tamas hang out on your preferred case and take care of both.

I love my party 🎉 the games change, and you get freebies exchanging gifts. My batteries last two weeks at best.

Depends on which Tamagotchi, it remains on the Pix.

Hello! Does the Party version include the same games as the Original version and a couple more? Or are there games from the Original version that are not in the Party version? Leaving aside the lag, battery problems and so on, are they solved in the Party version? Thank you!

Games are different, you might have to check the Tamagotchi Wikia for details. And no the Wave 2 of the original fixed things but the Party brought issues back.
