I have a Jujutsu Kaisen Nano, been running it for almost 6 months now. It's really easy to care for (I left mine alone for 8 hours to see what would happen and it survived the neglect), but I wish it did a few more things: show character age, a "heart" meter to check for meal/snack care, and a memory for when the batteries died-care-wise, it's functionally immortal if you fight off the baddies, until the batteries running out murders my sorcerer. I like the all-icon menus. I LOVE that the screen is always on. JJK has 3 training games, so there's no lack of variety there, and there's lots of characters to become. My biggest con for the JJK nano is how fragile the screen is. The thing got scratched up soooo fast. Screen protector is a must. Still, if I had to pick between a NaNo and my Digimon 20th, I'd go the Digivice. The NaNo is alright, but I don't think I'd get another. I'm honestly kind of bored with it. It's great for a busy lifestyle because it isn't super needy, but I do find it dull.

I like my Kamen Rider one enough but after I got a few different Riders the novelty wore off. I'm thankful for how simplified the Nanos are compared to other devices but the Rider one is pretty simple compared to other Nanos. feed, game or snack, get rid of enemies occasionally, that's all.. no animations and only two games, one of which being the "mash button to run" one. but as a Rider nut I'm glad to have it, I can definitely see myself going back to it at some point. I do think I should look into other more involved Nanos though. thought about Evangelion even though I've only seen the compilation movie and EoE from before the rebuild stuff.

I would say nano are the bet for newcomer to vpet. They require less work and perfect care and the offen are base off big ip. Bts and one piece nano got me into tamagotchi.
