There are session musicians.. the brass, winds and strings, possibly other instrumentation, and the arrangement for those instruments are all done by others. However you’re right for the most part. The unsung hero and third leg of the silk sonic tripod is producer DMile, the production is stellar in every one of these songs. Plus he is the bassist on most of the songs. Silk sonic is exactly what the industry needs right now.

Love your reaction! The song and video is amazing😍🤩😁Bruno is a perfectionist when it comes to his music, I think that is why it has tasken them a bit longer to put out the album❤️

Bruno and Silk Sonic are the best. My sisters and I are grandmas in our 60s and we love Bruno. My grandchildren also love him. I bought my 7 year old grandson a Bruno tshirt that he wears all the time.

Bruno and Anderson are so smart because adding in the comedy thing actually makes you stop… back up… listen again… probably listen again.. look up the lyrics… laugh your behind off… all the while completely enjoying the music. Everyone is going to listen to the whole song and then text someone else to ask if they’ve heard it yet. The music is totally undeniable, the lyrics are fun and funny, and you are going to totally enjoy the experience and are NOT going to forget this song. Genius!!!

Best reaction. I watched it twice. Enjoyed your acknowledgement of 70's music style combined with some current wording. Silk Sonic did their homework and we are receiving the benefits. They are talented and funny. And yes give it up to the band and background singers! Can't wait to hear your reaction to the album.

I am happy for this reaction. You two, bringing in different perspectives and similar perspectives made this video. Like how Bruno Mars and Anderson Paak brought their perspectives for this song and video. Just a bunch of people that have talent, skill and a sense of humor can entertain a lot of people. Real enjoyment is contagious! Thank you for a great video.

Excellent song and pointed commentary by you on how the romance has been out of music for decades. It 's not All About Me stuff, it's about romantic love that used to be the focus of music and society and the family.

I love that I'm old enough to have grown up with old-school R&B. What Silk Sonic is doing is fantastic, especially the musicianship that is absolutely next level compared to what else is being produced today. I can't wait for this album. Gonna be huge!

Great review and they killed it. But man that video brought it home. It was such a throwback to all the 70s tropes. The fades and orange tint. So freaking good.

People say that silk sonic is trolling. But they actually are not. They are remaining remaining true to how old school albums were released. You would get the singles 1st, sometimes there would not even be an album, they would go back and record the album. The album release came way later back in the day!

Re: Ryan’s comment about the group’s knowledge of many genres. I read that Bruno Mars attributed that to his work as a producer as well, because when producing for different artists he had to get familiar with their genre.

About Bruno Mars being universally accepted, I personally think he is! In my circle like. Half the people I know are metal heads and everyone else listens to everything from country to hip hop to dubstep to classic rock and I haven’t met a single person who doesn’t love and appreciate Bruno Mars’ music. He just doesn’t miss.

This reaction is by far the best reaction on this video. Everything you all said, I agreed with. Moreover; I'm not being hyperbolic when I say this, but due to his sheer talent, versatility, and entertainment ability, Bruno Mars can be the next Micheal Jackson. Anderson .Paak is a sheer genius when it comes to music and creativity. I have yet to hear someone that sound like him. He has to potential to be an iconic as well (Rock N Roll Hall of Fame).
