King Harris really should've taken several notes from how his father carries himself. Tip's massive sense of cool, style and old soul vibration is why people choose to remember him more for how he talked a suicidal man down from the ledge of a building in 2010 and less for that absolutely bizarre and disturbing story about how he forced his daughter to regular gynecologist visits to make sure her hymen was still intact so he knew she was still a virgin

I don’t understand the hate towards Jaden and Willow, them kids don’t bother nobody. The fact that him being confident in knowing he thinks outside the box compared to others his age and being mature well beyond his years is being viewed as being out of touch with reality just goes to show you the times that we are living in. No he is not perfect because nobody is, but when it comes to pushing real world topics and being comfortable speaking on those things regardless of how people will view you, we honestly need more kids like him. The thing that parents don’t realize is the fact that no matter how well they may feel they did in raising a child, unfortunately they have no control over the perception of the life that child felt that they lived while under them. All you can do is love them the best you can with the resources you have and hope that they have appreciation for your struggle in providing those things while making the best of their lives as young adults. As he got older, he put on an accent and started using more slang. He'd buy fake chains and even showed off his fake Gucci belt he got for 20 bucks at a flea market in Florida; I told all his friends that his belt was fake because that's what bros do. Fast forward, he moves to LA and comes to visit, and he gets more hood when you talk to him, but he clearly is just a cosplayer for that life, and my parents will always be there to remind him of that.

But I also think that anti-individualism won't let ppl admit they like his songs, same thing that happens between gospel and hip-hop, gospel music uses alot from hip-hop including their artists, and they're too prideful to admit that hip-hop and r&b may not always have the lyrical content you like but the vibe can be there even in a song against your morals and values.

They may be nepo babies, but hip hop THRIVES itself off of authenticity, when these guys starts rapping about robbing, the struggle, ormurder they instantly get called out. They dont try to seriously rap bc they know they'll be ignored. Only one remotely relevant is Coi Leray and 90% of that is sex appeal. I didn't even know she was Benzino's daughter until a couple months ago, that's how Nepo SHOULD work.

(producers, accountants, directors, doctors, lawyers, politicians) all their kids go to school together, are neighbors, and are in the same social arenas.. artists always seem to marry a "nobody" within the industry.. but more than not this "nobody" also comes from a Hollywood family.. do yalls research

I honestly have no qualms with black nepo babies. Others have done this for years and generations (see the Fonda, Coppola, Redgrave, Baldwin, Gerber and Barrymore families) building dynasties in the entertainment industry. Ice Cube made an excellent point about this regarding his own son. Now with hip hop, there's a "problem". And let's be real the "nepo baby" who has seen the most success is the one whose parent had the least influence (Zino hadn't been relevant in years and was living at the Red Roof Inn when Coi took off) is Coi because people actually consume her music and her father actually had little to do with her career.
@Stargazer31318 ай бұрын
Us black folk have a reall problem with seeing other successful black people putting there kids on, thats partly how generational wealth works! Which is it; poverty or Nepo baby?🤔

“Nepo” is short for “nepotism,” the word used to describe the favoring of relatives or friends when meting out positions of power. “Nepo baby” is really just a haute way to call someone a spoiled rich kid. The term has no additional value beyond that.
