@@jalenimmanuel7669 There are exemptions. For example with EM at his peak popularity, Royce went after him. And there was genuine dislike (at least from one side). He never responded bc he could foreshadow a different future. There was no dislike from Cole to Dot or vice-versa. The most immature thing Cole did was respond when we know he never wanted to…but felt the pressure to do so. But him being able to adjust and take all the hate, and stand in it, is respectable as a man and an artist.

Say Kendrick dropped every single diss track he dropped till now on Drake, added that bit more for the J Cole aspect of it too anything Cole drops isn't gonna live up to what would be the personal war Kendrick and Drake would have been setting up, take meet the Grahams for example that, that was personal, and now Cole would have to compete with that, he has no personal vendetta on either of them, any jabs within the game are just weak at that point.

When Cole apologized, I kinda figured everyone would lose respect for him. But apologies don’t mean you’re weak. Mistakes happen and he acknowledged his mistake and apologized publicly for it. That earns my respect. His albums and work has inspired so many and has changed rap and he can freestyle like it’s no one’s business. He’s very talented, a genuine artist and writer. Sure some of his songs, like Grippy, we’re just straight up gas but every artists has songs like that. He’s humble, he treats the artists under his label like family and that deserves respect. A simple apology and Grippy after his apologize shouldnt be the reason his career is suddenly in shambles or over

To be a rapper thou must: 1. Not being positive. Always talk about drugs, girls and guns. Talk about peace and love is consider corny 2. Don't be corny 3. Don't apologize because apologize is lame eventhough some of rapper's music inspired people to kill other people because of their music. Apology is the lamest term for being human 4. You can rap anything with no lyrical meaning but good beats. Let the beat carry the music. Such as pop rock and so on. Hip hop is dame genre as them 5. Diss until that other person quit rapping.
