@pjket4229at leads yeah, but not at rhythm. Gary would never have been able to play Metallica’s riffs the way Hetfield did on the albums. Especially Blackened and Dyers Eve. I’m sure Gary could have played those songs. But not the way Hetfield did. Only Hetfield can play them the way Hetfield did. Even Gary says Hetfield is probably the best rhythm guitarist out there.

@afrocoolio256 жыл бұрын
He actually is not really tall. Just his appearance in the 70s made him a larger than life figure. A band that was tall: Kiss. Every member of the original Kiss lineup, Ace, Peter, Gene, Peter, were all *over* 6' tall. With their height without boots and makeup, it did make them unrecognizable. Most people thought that they were not actually tall guys.

It was the first song I played and Piranha blew me away. Holt and Exodus is what changed my life and buying mixed tapes with anything Exodus and it kept building and building. Thee best riffer period is Holt.Watching him play and how he interacts with the crowd is amazing and still thrashing his body while playing live and the fact he never looks to see where to play,the dude is a cyborg.

For Gary to make it a point to say he doesn't like Teds politics is in itself a political statement while trying to act like it's not. I don't like all of Ted's politics and never did like his music but I do like that he at least sticks to his beliefs and makes no bones about them.
