You dear Sir are an absolute Luxury magician!! I have watched so many of your videos. I think I probably commented on one. I do absolutely give a 👍🏼 to all I watch. For me sadly after collecting bags for over 30 years, Ive always said it will be my daughter vintage collection. My own mom passed over 13yrs ago and my entire home went To storage including my bag collection without proper packing. (I did not do packing) I was very unwell after losing my mom. When does bags came out I nearly lost my Mind. I carried for about 20 minutes and then just let go. I lost some really treasured ones but the most special ones where with me. I just began early this year passing Them down to her. I love what you say. It’s not that serious! It’s true. Once you realize the memories are mine she was going to make her own. It’s going to be always ok. Thank you for sharing these videos with us. I personally love watching. Your also correct, the amount we spend on these CANVAS bags with very little leather is crazy. I did my collecting when I was single and had and awesome paying job in New York. I’m now retired in NC and as you say thanking life chill. Again thank you.❤️🌻👍🏼

I used alcohol 80%+ to get rid of inkstains, but I also use benzene to get rid of ink stains .I had once an oil stain on my pants and put some benzene and it came all clean from the washing machine, I washed it twice but the stain was in there until I used benzene, it's also used to get oily parts from engine and the like clean.

Hey Steve. I was going to suggest to perhaps match the color of the binding on a scrap piece of leather so you can make a small batch (teaspoon) of the adjusted color to use throughout your bag project as a time saver.

The coating on the canvas is polyvinylchloride which they also make vinyl flooring with, old fashioned vinyl tolls of flooring but the LV canvas gets I believe 3 coats of PVC. A very durable plastic that you can wash with a soapy rag then clean water rag, dry and condition with Armour All. LV made history with creating the PVC coating.

Acetone on a tips will take off ink strains. I use a bit of liquid Castile and water in a soap foamed dispenser to clean the bag, then Armor All for the outside

Mmmmmm... It's like l can feel the smell of the coffee ☕. I missed drinking my Greek coffee, because in my parts that's how we know it and call it. But in Toronto, Canada where I am now it's a bit difficult to find one and especially when you are not around the Greek area. You can try a brand we used to consume and it is also available all across the world. It's called Loumidis coffee and you can find it in a green bag. Anyway. Great video as always.
