The most impressive part of the EP to me are the lyrics. She is already a master song writer, and I believe the vocals on this album were completed when she was 16. The EP tells a story-her story and themes are woven through the various songs till the last one "Diamond" which is an anthem and her mindset going forward. I believe "Good In Goodbye's" is her transitional statement now that she is taking full control of her career. The songs increase in intensity as you go through the EP, as well as the combining of genre's. I waited in great anticipation to see where she would initially take her art upon the official launching of her career and it exceeded my expectations. As I had hoped for, once a Jazz singer-always a Jazz singer. Modern but yet keeping that old soul of decades past the way only Angelina can do so while at the same time with her vocals remaining front and center. I think she is actually creating a new genre of music. I liken it to the scene in the first Matrix movie where the boy is bending the spoon and says-- what you have to realize is that there is no spoon. Bring that to Angelina's world and i envision this conversation--a singer asks her how to sing a certain genre and she replies: the first thing you must understand is that there are no genre's--there is only music. Enjoyed your take on the song-but don't pass over the lyric's as they are stunning. Edit: I forgot to mention that she includes the listener in some of the songs, at the end of the last 2 songs in particular. This seems to be a pattern and style that I think will continue and from a marketing point of view is an excellent idea although I don't think that is the reason she does it.

As of May 15, 2023: In 10 days the video "Love Don't Let Me Go" video has been viewed 617 thousand times, that is 61.7 thousand a day, not counting reactors and their viewers. Suspicious Minds took 10 months to get to 4.1 million views, that is 13,500 per day. Things are moving fast for AJ, and it is only going to get better.

Smoke Machine Here is a trivia about Angelina Jordan, the young and talented singer who won Norway's Got Talent in 2014. A new smoke machine was installed by Republic Records at the studio that is prioritized for AJ where she records and writes her new vocals. The first time it was used was when she was performing this song for her upcoming album. The smoke was so thick that it triggered the fire alarms and the LA Fire Department rushed to the scene. Luckily, there was no fire, and everyone was safe. The incident happened on the same day as Mery Zamani's birthday, who is AJ's manager and mentor. They were celebrating her birthday at the studio with a cake and balloons. The firemen apologized for coming to the false alarm and were invited to join the party. They were also lucky enough to have a tour of AJ's studio and they got their picture taken with her. AJ was very gracious and thanked them for their service. ©

Also, she stated in an interview that the music and the video was supposed to have a 50s-60's vibe, so you caught that right away as well. Amazing reaction again, Carl. I see most people say that she is 17 here, but I'm not completely sure. I think she may be 16. Her EP "Old Enough" DID release last July, putting her at 17, but the EP had been ready for quite a while at that stage. I think all of her songs on the EP were recorded while she was 16.
