getting a dragon age: origins vibe from the camp thing. i feel like i haven't seen a game properly develop that concept since then. i'm thrilled to see how larian is going to do it fr. update: tested it in alpha and can happily report that they did the camp justice! as well as nailing that same atmosphere there appears to be dynamic events that take place at camp, which wasn't really a thing in DAO. so it's not just a repeat!

The thing is, I will probably play as halfling first, because I already have an idea for it and I want to see how the animation adjusts to a halflings size compared to the awkward angle and adjustments that Dragon Age did if you were a dwarf(Seriously, it was so annoying to only see the scalp of ones head at times or how the characters hands seem to float or move weirdly due to their shorter height). Also, it will be fun to play as a halfling paladin that summons a mastiff as their mighty steed with the Find Steed spell; "To battle Fluffles!"

While plate armor itself is lighter than you might think, couple it with chain mail and a gambeson and it can weigh around fifty pounds. Now try running (even if just figuratively) between departments in a multistory building, and you'll get pretty fit. BTW, laslagos beat me to the joke.

I do hope romances will extend beyond "getting together". I was, for a recent example, enjoying the romance with Cassandra in Dragon Age Inquisition. But after we had sex, the interaction just...ended for the most part. There was no development, we were together and with the exception of a few looks or remarks this played no role in the actual game. That's not how relationships work and I wish more games pushed furthe.

My BG1 and 2 character was a Chaotic Good Fighter classed male human and I had him romance Viconia, a drow woman who was also a cleric of Shar like Shadowheart. Try to be open-minded, romances between two characters of different alignments can work, depending on their personalities.

Chalk that up among the other hundreds of reasons I was never an actor (of any kind) ;) For what its worth, it did look as if the mo capper sitting on the right was a girl. The whole 2020 plague mask thing has made me truely feel sorry for a certain specific Middle Eastern religion.. all your girls hiding their faces makes for a much less lovely world.

There's plenty of actors that are okay with sex scenes, others that are pretty iffy about it. I'd love to see some more "normal" moments in the game with companions. Like in Dragon Age 2 you could've drink with them in the tavern, they visited you in your house for no particular reason. Just to talk, and goof around sometimes. That's what made Mass Effect trilogy so special to me. Not the plot, not the graphics, gameplay etc. Companions were family. I've grown to actually care about them, look forward to talk to them, to learn about them, their problems. There was a mission in Mass Effect 3 involving going to the roof with your best friend and shooting some bottles. Just because. No critical plot, no unnecessary drama. Just shooting bottles competition. I really hope you guys will make me care and companions won't be just about business (Drinking competition with baezel perhaps?) Keep up the great work! oh and please release BG3 on consoles ;_;

One of my all-time favourite "missions" in a game was in Mass Effect 2: Lair of the Shadow Broker where my Shepard met up with Liara (his ex) for a coffee and had a super awkward conversation about his one night stand with Jack. It was such a real moment in the midst of all this sci-fi action. Made the characters so much more relatable.
