Absolutely Beautiful 🤩 I love Mick Taylor. Had the great privilege to meet him in person after a gig he did in Lund Sweden 🇸🇪 in 1988. Was nervous as hell before. But he turned out to be the most gentle and kind person and my nervousness vanished quickly. One of the best moments and memories in my life 🙏❤️🙏🙌🫶🤲🦋🪽🦋🙂

Best version of this song 69 live Rolling Stones Get Yer Yas Out. Taylor shreds first with a slide solo simular to this version then he does a masterful finger solo at the end. Possibly my favorite song.

The Rolling Stones are not exactly a wholesome bunch... I'm sure playing with them took its toll on Mick... But the Love he has for playing guitar is expressed in the amazing feeling he communicates when he plays... He seems to be quite in his own world, Im sure he is on the autistic spectrum like I am...

Mick Taylor still has it. wow . I think he's in open G
@tatethompson12347 жыл бұрын
He's in standard. He always plays standard, always did in the stones. Keith did Open G and he was in Standard, that's what gave them such a beautiful sound.
@green323turbo7 жыл бұрын
no, Mick T played a lot of slide in open G as well. He has played love in vain in both tunings Get yaya's is in open G and 1972 ladys and gentilemen is in std tuning. You can hear him at 1:44 play his two top strings together ( E is tuned down to D) .. You can't do that in std tuning. After the stones when he played with Dylan, he always played slide on strats.. one tuned to Open E and one tuned to Open G.

@@sharonlee4773 I know what you meant I'm messing with you..... We only think Ronnie fits better because that's what most of us only know.... In the studio Mick Taylor fit much better than ronnie... There is no comparison.... Ronnie is a better live performer... And he looks the part for sure. But when you listen to what Mick Taylor recorded with the stones between 69 and 74... I think that pretty much ends the discussion.
