To a lot of people, she doesn’t seem to be doing a great job, but she is at least trying. She seems to be aware of her past mistakes, whether selfish or not, she has not given up on her children and on her responsibility. Give her some credit for that. What she is facing right now is caregiver stress and what she needs is help. Yes, she is harsh on Lucas and everyone here knows children with dyslexia and hyperactivity are not the easiest to care for. She probably needs someone to guide her on how to manage Lucas. Her husband doesn’t seem to be around much to help her out and she only recently employed a FDW to relieve her from some of her household chores. She knows that she is being too harsh on Lucas and she is trying to control it. In fact, she mentioned that she resent herself for being so harsh (CNA article). Pretty sure all of us here has shouted at someone when out emotions run high. Talk is easy. Telling her to control her emotions is easy. But no one here knows how many of us can actually do it. TLDR - what she needs is help, not criticism and judgement.

Before I had my son, I could never understand why people who have children that are not "normal", go on to have more children. But since having my son, now I can understand why. I've been greatly humbled by him. He's taught me unconditional love, and that this unconditional love for him/her, is the basis of what gives us hope, that maybe having another child would be able to help him/her. As a mother, we will always try to do what's best for our children. Sometimes it may not always be the easiest or best choice in other people's view. I don't condone what she did, but I do understand. For those who aren't in that position, you will never be able to empathize or feel what another parent is going through if your child is normal. Carer's stress is very real, especially when all the responsibility lies on one person. Instead of criticism, offer help and hope. Don't trample on someone when the already down.

People will never understand until they experience it first hand. I already have full sympathy and empathy to parents or care takers with people or children that has learning disability. We grow up having a cousin who has LD and and it was even strange back then as it wasn't common still compare to this day and age. I also work with them and it's sad on how people stare at you/them when you go to the shops or getting mad/angry when they scream or shout not that they mean to. I have always have a soft heart to them. Also now that my child is also really hyper & has difficulty to focus and learn it can get quite hard and sure I do get angry but it's because it can get overwhelming. @aletheiathreskeia18444 жыл бұрын
@@aravinthsrisivasritharan4098 hmm. too bad. Actually who suffers the most and wins with faith, will be granted a glorious place in His Kingdom. It's the concept. Nothing good originated from the earth because evil has been ruled the world since ages. Adam and Eve brought sin to the earth so earth is cursed forever. That is why there are sufferings, disaster, and pain. The real life is not what we can see with the eyes, but the afterlife where we live forever. What is 1-70 years compared to eternity? For those who believe, they prepare themselves for eternity, so we dont fear suffering and death, because it's all just temporary. Like what is the use of living happily for ourselves and die after a short amount of time. Every human ever lived on earth were forgotten and become ash.
