So…I’m a white dude who is fostering a 13 yr old black child who was kicked out onto the streets by an abusive Dad. When he got to me he had a mess of dreads on his head and I watched your channel to know what to do. In fact today we did a trim and a retwist and he was off to see his girlfriend in true swag form. You are doing the Lord’s work with these people and helping a lot of folks who watch your channel!

I hope you get him therapy, and he is not ready for a girlfriend. Being a friend to anyone plus social skills have been corrupted thanks to his sperm donor and the world since homelessness SHOULD NOT EXIST BUT DOES. He needs stability with a healthy environment to develop in all areas of his childhood. Being with a girl with whatever her background is plus his while unhealed equals a problem. Good that you're helping him and thank you.

I love watching how you give life back to your clients by simply caring enough to take the time to do what no one else seems to want to do. There are so many videos of people who are simply told to chop it all off, treating long locks of hair like it's a curse. To see these beautiful women glowing with their hair intact is a blessing.

Depression is cruel and managing hair can be so hard in the throughs of it. It's satisfying to see it getting de-matted. But I would encourage a few inches to keep it manageable or if waist long bringing it to mid-shoulders. Removing the weight is very important and long hair is heavy lol. I don't wear mine long at all anymore.

The way she talked to this client reminded me of when I went to the dentist for the first time in 6 years this June. I was shaking when I came in and then when the dentist said I had more than 10 cavities I started bawling. The dental assistant calmed me down by explaining how everything would work, and she told me she had seen worse. I didn't even cry like that when I got the first filling, but the dental assistant that day saw the tear drop fall out of my eye when the dentist pulled out the needle, and she held my hand, and I've been fine at all my appointments since. One more this Friday and then I'll be like my daddy and get my teeth cleaned every 3 months now Edit: thank you all for the positive comments and 1k likes❤️❤️ Not sure if they missed the cavities on my 2 wisdom teeth or they were waiting for this year to start so my coverage would renew, but I just had those 2 filled 3 days ago (a week after my first cleaning this year) so I think I'm good for now.

@@roserandall3160 You don't need to be trained to know your teeth were tampered with. Does he show you the cavities or TELL YOU only? Do you feel pain? Do you see fillings on once healthy and painless teeth? You have to become aware and stop being so trusting. That's how you get screwed in this world. Just because someone is a professional doesn't mean you just allow them to do whatever they want. Not everyone is honest.

February was my first time back to the dentist after not going since 2016. I had 8 cavities and needed one root canal. I sadly had the exact opposite support from my dentist office. The girls would talk over me as they were fixing my cavities talking about how I should of not neglected my teeth and how awful my teeth were i wanted to cry. After getting all 8 cavities taken care of and a root canal I had 2 deep cleanings then wisdom teeth removal surgery then finally after 15 years I finally got braces on, its now November and I'm 4 months into my braces and I'm so proud of myself for not listening to those mean dental hygienist and continued my teeth journey!! It's been 9 months straight of dental work and pain but all I'm thinking about is the time I get my braces removed and show back up to that dentist with my new smile 😃

I was 12 when my hair ended up like this. My dad died and everything fell apart. After a year, my mom dragged me to her stylist but i was so embarrassed and refused to go in. The stylish had to the car to talk me into going in. She was wonderful but I will never forget some of the rude people she worked with. I don't think that I would have been able to untangle her hair without you to inspire me. She has arthritis in her shoulders and wrists, so it's very hard for her to brush her hair, and she's too stubborn to ask for help. I relate to what this client said at the beginning of this 3 day journey. I am currently covering up my matted hair with scarfs because I am ashamed. Even making it cute with pops of color gets old. It is a mental imprisonment. There is stagnant energy, zero spontaneity and certainly never any sensuality. My hair is such a primal thing for me being a Leo. This will be my THIRD time getting my hair unlocked and I am equally exhausted and exhilarated. You do a profound service. It is magical to watch.

I always had long beautiful hair but had to make the decision to cut it short as my depressive episodes were too close together. Hair makes such a difference. I remember going to the hairdressers after I started to climb out of my depression, had caramel highlights with balliage and an undercut to manage the thickness of my hair. When I saw the result I started to cry with happiness because I felt human again, like a princess. I wanted to cut my hair shorter but the hairdresser probably pegged that I was not in the right mind and said that if I wanted to go shorter after a week to come back and cut it shorter. I did it almost 2h later. Thank you for being such a precious human being and treating those who don't see theirself as valud, as valid human beings. The last time I did it a few months ago, I did end up having to really cut it because it was 5 days and a really tough sectIon that wouldn't budge no matter what and her scalp was becoming so sensitive. Thankfully, she's been taking a bit better care of it and it hasn't become matted. Thank you for doing this for these women without judgement! 💐

Hi! How old is your daughter? How does her hair get matted? I have super dense hair, gets matted easily, I could offer some tips to prevent matting if it helps! 1: don't sleep with your hair down. Always put it in a braid, or wear it in a hair wrap/bonnet (google if you don't know what it is). This helps keep my hair from getting lesser up in my sleep! 2: keep it moisturized, and make sure to brush through it every morning. Even if you protect your hair, it can grow and curl around rubberbands. Thus is something I struggled with a lot, my hair would always mat around my Rubbermaid! 3: get a really good detailing comb and LOTS of conditioner... though I'm sure you know that already!

I’m only 21 and have been battling with depression all of my life for some time now I’ve been letting my hair tangle up so much it takes hours to comb out I won’t wash or brush it for months sometimes I never knew this page existed until today I never knew there was other women who did the same & accepted . This gives me motivation honestly I don’t want it to get this bad seeing how long & beautiful her hair is though gives me so much hope
