Vocally, Mariah is on the same tier as Whitney and Celine in the Vocal Trinity. I would rank Christina just below them and alongside Beyoncé, Leona Lewis, and Kelly Clarkson. Mariah in her prime was flawless vocally - amazing tone, range, agility, and artistry. But her voice went through so much wear and tear through the decades, and at first, her voice still sounded fine, just more raspy and mature. She still sounded great by lowering the key of her songs and finding alternative ways of singing her songs. But in recent years, her voice sounds like there’s some irreversible damage to her vocal cords, so at the moment, Christina and Beyoncé are in much shape vocally even though their voices have matured too. Their voices have a fuller, deeper, more mature tone and less belting range, but they never lost their elasticity and agility, which is a sign of normal aging, not severe vocal damage like with Mariah. It pains me to see Mariah struggle and be dragged bc she’s a legend deserving of respect. I really hope she does everything it takes to recover her voice and redeem herself 🙏

Beyonce has better technique, but Christina has everything else, so I would put Christina a big higher than her, and right below the Vocal Trinity. Leona and Kelly Clarkson... maybe on the same tier as Beyonce, hard to decide their placement.

Maybe because Christina's big fame rise was before their time, the Vegas weather was kinda windy n wack that day; n also probably because throwback concert festivals are usually just vibin n such, like a chill vape/kush n beer crowd. LA Pride had her headline a few years back, n that crowd was raging more. LA is the real Vegas. For the best non-dead Vegas crowd, that's more like the night clubs, some pool parties n definitely EDC.

Haha and what did they get? A lot of people (if not most) were disappointed from Mariah's set. She was extremely late and then she went out for a maximum 20-minute, during which she lip synced, she brought out a dress, truck was playing with her being off stage and in the very few moments her mic was on, her vocals were all over the place. Christina delivered. She performed live, she had good energy. People were pleased.
