I've been watching your videos since 2013 I realized! You got me back into Bare Minerals among other excellent brands. I wanted you to know that you finally convinced me. You have the most beautiful brows. I’m quite a bit older than you are, and very thin brows were more “in” when I was in my prime. Luckily my mother and grandmother (who was a New York model) always told me to not over pluck because as you age your brows become more sparse. And after years and years of plucking the hair just starts to not grow back. So, because of their wisdom, i have fuller brows than a lot of people my age, but the very ends are still thinner than I would like now! So great job as keeping your brows full but nicely shaped and in control!

This video is about what she would buy if she lost everything. It wouldn’t make any sense whatsoever to make a drug store version if that’s not what she would buy. What you’re probably looking for is a drug store starter kit rather than “what I’d buy if I lost all my makeup”. I’m sorry you’re in that position but once you’ve tried high end or luxury you realize that drug store just isn’t it. I mean there are a very few items that are ok but they are on the pricey side of drug store.

Same here and I am also a Bare Minerals loyalist since 2005. I ordered my first kit by phone after seeing an infomercial for it on TV. I think it was the only thing I ever bought from a TV ad and it was best thing I ever did since I was having skin issues from a burn at the time and couldn't wear liquid make-up. I dont think Ill ever give up my Mineral Foundation and Warmth.

I am probably your oldest subscriber at almost 68 years old;) I have fairly normal skin . I have and always will use Bare Minerals Well Rested for a brightener under my eyes. Liquids and creams look so bad. I just like to brighten , and lightly applied it is a great product. Years ago Sue Devitt had killer eye pencils . You have convinced me Shelbey... my watercolor blush samples are on their way and I bought two cavier sticks when I was in Sephora yesterday. I got Rush and Intense Amethyst, its so hard to pick as their colors are beautiful! I wore Rush today and cannot believe how it didnt crease, everything creases on me! Especially on hot humid days when I'm working hard. For reference, Rush is a very similiar but lighter sparkly color to Butter Londons oil slick eye gloss which I love. Its a violet red duo chrome with some blue and green in it. Ive just been on the fence about these because of the price.

Like others, I can’t get enough of your staples. If I lost everything, I’d only buy cream products for bronzer, shadow, blush, and highlighter. Maltilda has so many great recommendations on her channel, I think I’d have to try something new for the fun of it even though I love Milk bronzer, blush, and lip products. My current favorite stick shadow is Clinique’s lots of latte; it’s my perfect taupe and I also use UD’s 24/7 pencil in Stash as my liner or outer corner color; it’s a great dirty olive neutral. One thing I wouldn’t repurchase is any bright and colorful shadows; I’m just loving the more natural/neutral eye look too much these days.

Love your use of cream makeup. I have the Milk Bronzer and love it for contouring and bronzer. Also purchased the Daniel Sadler blushes and totally agree you need to use a deft hand as it can go the wrong way quickly. I like your tip of putting on your hand first. Also love the Cover Girl cream shadow sticks and are good dupes for the Laura Mercier caviar sticks. Love your techniques using very few items to create beautiful natural looks! A big HOORAY and agree with Laura Mercier Caviar sticks!!! I've found some others in neutral tones that dry down and don't bother my older sensitive eyes at a better price point yet love the LM most... Have you tried Laura Mercier Flawless Lumière Radiance-Perfecting Foundation.. I found it by chance at my TJ MAXX in my color for 18.99 and it's a lighter to just barely medium coverage. I just used my fingers with it and it is nice on the go, very natural..... I can't build make up or I should say I don't. I've still not attempted to try my BM original powder foundation even after some time back I reached out to you about using it and you helped. thank you Shelbey as always!

I was actually just looking yesterday at what the kits included nowadays. Last time I got a kit it did come with an XS "touch up" concealer. That blended more as a touch up in coverage for blemishes and not like well rested for a boost under the eyes.

I almost had to do this last year. The big CA fires last summer forced us to evacuate & the fire came within feet of our house. Our awesome firemen saved our house! I left all my makeup behind when we evacuated because it was a struggle just to fit my hubby & I plus our 2 cats, our portable electronics & important things like my dad's ashes in our car. If I had to start over I would buy the Bare Minerals starter kit because it's the only foundation I wear.

I am 100% certain I purchased the CT Light wonder based on your recommendation in a past video and so far it is best foundation like product I’ve used! It is so good that I an afraid I will run out so I don’t use it on a daily basis. For reference if someone with oily skin is wondering whether will be a good option, I am with combo oily, but enjoy glowy looks. Also, I believe you have shade 3 and because you showed back then the application, I figured shade 3 will be a little too orange, so I opted for 2 and it is perfect match. Thanks once again!

I love your look as it is always so put together but not over done. I now have (because of watching you) boy brow, and 3 of the blushes, and I have the stick BM foundation. I also have the Fenty lip gloss ❤️it. I don’t have the same brand of eye sticks, but I do like what I have. I have so,e of the CT cream eyeshadow and I like them for a fast get ready. The liquid blushes sound wonderful, but I do not wear any foundation, and I'm naturally oily at the end of day so I am sad I couldn't wear it. But, it definitely matches you. My go-to mascara is CG's waterproof lash blast mascara!

So I just tried a sample of the new Armani concealer that I've been hearing buzz about and.... it's everything they say. Have you tried it? I think you would like the finish it gives. I love my DS blushes, I want to get more but I don't want to overload my stash and have them go bad. Shiseido cream blush would be my other must-have. Charlotte's cream shadows and the fat shadow pencils (I forget the name...color chameleon? I think you have one of them.) are two of my favorites, I think they even dethroned caviar sticks... maybe? I'm not sure yet. I feel like they're even easier to use than the caviar sticks. Have you tried any of the RMS cream highlights? I'm so tempted to try them.

Don't mind that many of your choices were predictable. To me that confirms your honesty in reviews and demos. Do you have good tips on selecting the correct shade of BM foundation. I've been to Sephora twice & even though they used that mechanical device for selecting, I wasn't pleased with the results. Thankfully I was able to get samples to take home to see in my own lighting.

Maybeline eraser concealer No.7 liquid foundation Mac lowlights fluid liner (and a liner Mac brush). Kiko Milano brow gel (that also works for contouring and even an eyeshadow). + flat brush MAC eyeshadow pallete Burgundy Times nine (perfect little berry colored eyeshadow collection). + Mac brush. Pupa glow obsession powder shimmer. And since I’m just starting to discover the no makeup look: MAC strobe moisture cream in gold and KIKO MILANO primer.
